How to play
The King Layne is a rather old design that still keeps up today thanks to its reliability: typically used by mining crews, it features extensive cargo, battery-powered engines and plenty of space and supplies. In contrast, the sub features rather awkward blind spots that would normally be a fatal flaw, but the design includes a hangar with docking area for a Barracuda Escort Corvette.

A small military section is usually included in the King Layne, one capable of dealing with security issues and able to crew the Barracuda: thanks to its agility, the small corvette can quickly navigate around the main sub to deal with its threats, while at the same time being able to count on a readily available docking station for quick resupply; this "symbiotic" relationship between the two vessels effectively counters each other's deficencies, allowing the King Layne to work well even in dangerous areas.

Author's notes
Obviously, this is designed to have 2 crews (the main one crewing the King Layne and a smaller one crewing the Barracuda) working in tandem to deal with missions: the Barracuda is quick and agile and even features a front-facing railgun, but tends to have severe issues when dealing with protracted combat scenarios; conversely, the King Layne has poor defensive capabilities, so it relies on its escort for protection while offering docking and supplying services to keep it going.

No worries! Do say if you find a solution!

I tried reinstalling barotrauma as you suggested. Reinstalled all mods. Tried activate only Barracuda or King and game still doesn't let me.
Well, sometimes barotrauma works in mysterious ways.
I'll try to google solutions.
Anyway, thanks again for your effort!

I've checked it up in the editor and in a test run, I don't get those warnings - could there be something weird happening with other mods?

Hi! Somehow i get Errors found from this and Barracuda in mod list. Hash calculation doesn't match or something.

Updated the pathfinding, should be a little bit better at least.

Ah, the port with the Barracuda? Bots tend to be a bit iffy when pathing from one sub from the other. I can give it a look later, although everytime I think I've improved that sort of pathing some bot ends up getting stuck regardless lol

Probably janky AI... But It's in the place connecting to the docking port. My bot engineer fell down the hatch 3 times without using the ladder, breaking his legs a bit.

Hello! I've done a quick sweep of the sub in the editor and, even with some testing, the pathfinding seemed to work fine, except for one small instance that I couldn't reproduce. Do you think you can be more specific? Could it have been just janky bots AI?

I've noticed that bots have a really hard time trying to navigate through the sub (Not being able to go down ladders, getting stuck trying to go down hatches, etc.) Is there a way you could fix it?
