Intro - Rukia Explains It All

Semi-bad example, since Rukia is talking about Shinigami maintenance.

This maintenance in the skit is primarily about Coins, but it applies to all the varieties of the virtual and semi-virtual currency that you'll see here. Ya need them to upgrade your Summons, summon new Summons and do various other things in the game.

Don't forget to:

Coins
Coins

These are the most easy to obtain, they can be earn by doing activities, like doing the Coin Quest mode (Where this skit is from). Although you can also buy them with real money or exchange for them in the Exchange Shop. They are used to upgrade Characters, upgrading Accessories, skipping rooms in Senkaimon, and refreshing Brave Battles opponent list (It's the only mode that does this).

Orbs

The Orbs are very tricky to obtain, like how I literate time and time again in other guides. Since they're a limited source, ya need them to draw new Characters, buy Arena passes, and such. They can only be obtained by doing activities, like Point Events, dailies, grinding (like leveling up Characters/Rezz-ing them), doing Tap Joy assignments (like playing other games, subscribing to Netflix and answering quizzes. It's a mobile thing) and using real money to buy them (example, like buying SIMP-ing Character Packs).

Birthday Coins

Ya can get these on a character's birthday/unbirthday, get 20 of these babies and you'll get a Birthday Ticket to summon.

* I said "unbirthday", it's because of time zones. Ya might get your waifu/husbando's birthday celebration a day or two early or a few days late. Since this game runs on Japanese, remember that.

Rare Medallions

The medallions are used in the Exchange Shop, they can mostly be obtained by doing Brave Battles.

Arena Coins

There's three types and they can only be obtain by playing this games mode and having your Character reach a certain level in said game mode.

These function just like the regular coins, but they're only use for leveling up your Character just for Arena.
Coins (Cont.)
Arena Medal

These medallions are used to in the Exchange Shop to buy supplies and Orbs. Though at times, ya need to exit Arena to gather them from the medals from the Gift Box.

Arena Pendulums

These types only progress the battlepass.

Point Events

These special points are at the left hand corner, right next to the Coin guage.

The Point Event coins are only used for raking up points to get special rewards.

The different points represent different things, like bonuses, and the all add up to the total score.

These scores are actually bench marks, reach a certain bench mark and you'll get rewarded, even reward with Orbs and special items, like a special Event Summon Tickets (If ya get that far with increasing your score).

Note: Point Events are one of the Limited-Time Quests, they only show up at certain times.

Other Coins

Friend Points

These are different from the Rare Medallions, they can only be obtain by having some friends in your friendlist and joining them in various game modes, like teaming up in the "single player" quest at the last minute. The Friend Points are used in Kon's Corner to gather tree node stuff (and the rare but random Hog's Will) and to activate a leveling up boost duration in quests.

Summons Medals

These only pop out when you draw dupes of the same 5 Star Summon(s) that that ya already own. They're only used to get Exchange Shop stuff, like the 5 Star Summon Ticket (The other stuff can be obtained through other means).
Coins - Difficult Modes

Now these coins are very difficult to obtain, because, ya need to go to the most difficult game modes, like Epic Co-Op and Epic Raid.

Epic Raid Medals

Now there's two types of these Epic Raid coins, let's call them "Red ER" and "Purple ER" coins (for simplistic sake), because the ER are divided into two parts.

The red ones are just from Epic Raid.

Whereas the purple ones are from the second but enhance version of the ER boss.

They are both use to buy stuff from the Exchange Shop.

Tip: These coins can also be used to buy normal coins.

Other Coins

Senkaimon Medals

The Senkaimon Medals are only obtainable in the ever increasing difficulty floors of the Senkaimon challenges. They're used to buy stuff from the Exchange Shop.

Extreme Co-Op Medals

These coins are from Extreme Co-Op and are use to buy supplies from the Exchange Shop.
