Erik's D&D Tools - Encounters

Description
What's This?
A collection of pre-made encounters, compatible with the Encounter mod. Quality and complexity vary; these are the encounters I ran over the course of a 2-year campaign while I learned TTS.

How Do I Use It?
  • Follow the instructions for the Encounter mod
  • Draw an Encounter Set chest out of the (white) infinite bag
  • Draw a (brown) encounter bag out of the chest
  • Drop the encounter bag on the Encounter control panel
  • Click Load

Details
  • All encounters leave space for the Initiative mod's "bench" near the black player's seat
  • To move / modify an object in an encounter, first right-click > Toggles > Drag Selectable
  • Enemies originally used in these encounters are in the Enemies mod
  • Please leave a comment if you run into broken links
  • Resize / reorient encounters using the Scene mod
  • If terrain is too uneven, stabilize minis using the Agent mod

List
A horrid cavern with flesh mounds, bone piles, glowing toadstools, and an ominous shrine. Low complexity.
A cavern lit lit by torches and bioluminescent fungi. Low complexity.
A contraband stash house for thieves. High complexity.
A dock on a canal, next to a weathered warehouse and a patchwork inn. Medium complexity. The fan controls the wind rustling the tree.
An underground storehouse and laboratory. Lowest complexity.
A forgotten, waterlogged chamber that leads to a strange, ancient doorway. High complexity. Adapted from Word Zero's The Secret Cave Entrance. The Event button disables the fog.
A large forest clearing with a camp and evil-looking ruins. High complexity. Adapted from SuperBob's Beastmen Forest Camp 2.0.
A monastery hidden in a forest. Medium complexity. Adapted from Blaize's D&D / RP: Monastery. The structures can be opened (right-click and choose Loop / Trigger options)
A road through a forest, with a camp ruined by foul play. Medium complexity. Adapted from Combaticus' Evening Road Encounter.
A giant animated skeleton stomping through the forest. High complexity. PCs fight on the skeleton's back. The Event button disables the fog.
A forest village with two evil effigies in it. High complexity. Adapted from Outlaw Wolf's Village Street Combat Map. Flipping the "Fire A" / "Fire B" pieces toggles fire lights on the effigies. The rectangular house opens its roof (right-click > State).
The basement of an inn, but with strange warp rifts. High complexity. Adapted from Tiduss' Absalom Basement. Flipping rift pieces toggles the rifts.
An old castle perched atop a cliff. High complexity. Adapted from Fire Mage's Flying Dwarven City. The Event button disables the fog.
A desolate mountainside with a rickety bridge crossing a river. Medium complexity.
A sinister swamp base for a blood cult. Medium complexity. In the narrative, the floating island was ripped from the earth beneath, leaving a bottomless pit below it.
A mucky wetland dotted with fungi. Low complexity.
A crumbling temple with a single brazier mysteriously still burning. Medium complexity. Adapted from Outlaw Wolf's Forgotten City Temple Combat Map DnD (large).

Hey, JCloudJalix! The short answer is that there are instructions on the page for the Encounter mod, linked above. Basically, I found objects from other mods on the workshop ("Saught" has a lot of excellent mods with loads of assets). I arranged them as I wanted them, put a tilde (~) in the GM notes section of each one, then clicked the "Save" button on the Encounter mod control panel. That creates the little bag that you can duplicate (for backup) and re-load whenever you want. Good luck!

Hey Erik, First of all I wanted to say thank you for your awesome tools.
Your tools took everything at my table to the next level.

Now perhaps comes the stupid question.
Would you mind explaining, whether here in the comments or privately, how you created the scenes, saved them in the bag, etc.
I would also like to create my own scenes, I just have no plan.

In any case, I wish you a pleasant day and no matter what answer comes.

Thanks! :8bitheart:

PS: Have fun in Baldur's Gate 3 :P

Hey, DySFunction! The Encounter control panel comes from a different Stream mod, listed separately. In the description above, under "How Do I Use It," the first bullet has a link to that mod (click "Encounter").
