I love maps & now I am making my own. At the time of writing, I have 3 live on steam. Okay, one is a test map, but I'm counting it. And, no, my maps are not on this list, because I am nowhere near the level of these mapmakers. I'm working on it, though.

I can't seem to play this game very far into a city, because I'm always starting over on a different map. I have probably started 50 or more times. And, no I haven't saved them, they are just gone.

As I looked around the workshop at maps, I saw some amazing ones; some that had amazing details, perfect roads & train lines, lots of buildable area & a real 'wow' factor.

So, here they are, my TOP TEN 'vanilla' maps for Cities Skylines. I only chose maps that required no mods & no DLC's. Themes were okay because you don't have to use them.

Number 11 (honorable mention) is 'The Arcology Project: Site 23'. This map is amazingly built & very unusual. It is also visually stunning, but. Building on this one presents a lot of problems that I was not willing to overcome. Possibly in the future.
