Vegetable Garden Seed Fixes and Plant Replacement

Description
This mod combines adjustments I made over time to enhance the experience of using SeedsPlease: Lite and mods of the Vegetable Garden Series (specifically: Main, Medicine, Fabrics).

Compatibility with SeedsPlease: Lite Redux:
1.5: Yes.
1.4: Not without issues; SeedsPlease: Lite recommended.

Technically, all mentioned mods are optional, but if you want to use this mod without VGP Vegetable Garden, you should use the lighter version of this mod. But all patches will only be run if their corresponding mods are loaded. (Meaning: With only VGP Vegetable Garden loaded, duplicate plants are replaced and nothing else happens. Load a seed mod as well, and seeds are sorted out for the replaced plants. And so forth.)

What this mod does
1) This mod completely replaces vanilla plants agave, ambrosia, bamboo, cocoa tree and pincushion cactus with the versions from VGP Vegetable Garden. This prevents duplicates of plants (and seeds if SeedsPlease: Lite is loaded). The vanilla duplicates are removed. See preview image for overview and note the warning below.
The seeds of the replacing plants are consistently named like those of their vanilla counterparts if possible. The replacing plants keep their original defNames, except for the ambrosia bush. The VG bush has to get the vanilla defName after the original is deleted, otherwise there would be an error.

2) This mod creates seeds/makes existing seeds extractable/replaces existing seeds with extractable seeds for:
  • ambrosia (VG Main, VG Medicine)
  • agave (vanilla or VG)
  • pincushion cactus (only VG; for seed extraction choose "cactus fruit")
  • neutroflower (VG Medicine)
  • alyssum (VG Medicine)
  • flax (VG Fabrics)

3) Extractability is removed from bamboo seeds. (Plants that generate wood-log-type resources are usually non-extractable.)

4) The graphic of the VG cocoa seeds is changed to match the appearance of the VG cocoa plant.

Warning
If you add this mod to an existing save which includes VGP Vegetable Garden, any existing vanilla plants agave, bamboo, cocoa and pincushion cactus plants will vanish from your map! But: The replacement plants will spawn naturally after the switch (except for ambrosia and cocoa, which don't spawn in the wild). Despite efforts to keep everything consistent, seeds may also vanish.

If you don't want to replace/remove vanilla plants
Another version of this mod includes the seed fixes but does not remove any plants or seeds, or replace the duplicate plants.

On compatibility
This mod may cause problems with other mods that interact in some way with vanilla agave, bamboo or pincushion cactus -- biome mods, or incident-generating mods for example. As I understand it, dismarzero originally kept the vanilla plants to achieve maximum compatibility. The replacement performed by this mod worked well with my extensive mod list and the tested biome mods, but be careful if you add it to your game.

Tested (to some degree) with More Vanilla Biomes as well as Islands and Prehistoric of the Biomes! series.

Credits
The alyssum and VG cocoa seed graphics were created with plant images (VGP Garden Medicine, VGP Vegetable Garden) combined with a seed bag graphic (SeedsPlease: Lite).

Please let me know if you encounter any errors.

@Timou I've been playing with this mod and Mnt Menus for ages without any problems. You probably have a conflict with another mod. What you describe seems to be a common issue for Mint Menus users with several suspected/confirmed causes. Take a look at the comments there a little further back (page 2 of the comment view and earlier).

When using your mod with Dubs Mint Menus, nothing is displayed in the plant menu.
Can you fix this please!
