Description
That which is sacrament, I shall preserve. That which is sublime, I will protect. That which threatens, I will destroy, for my holy wrath will know no bounds.

Description
I was always a little dissatisfied with the appearance of some of the Bretonnia models. Being a free faction, they were never allocated the same budget as the other factions, and their units tend to lack the same diversity and visual flair of other units. When I found GunKing's awesome Tabletop Touches for Elves Reskin, I was similarly inspired to touch up Bretonnia in much the same way. The scope of this mod greatly increased over time. At first, all I was doing was adding a few extra helmets for the Men-at-Arms, then I decided to redo the bodies, then Peasant Bowmen, then Knights Errant, and before I knew it I was entirely overhauling units like the Questing Knights. Accuracy to the tabletop was the utmost concern, and I usually had pictures up of the original tabletop models whenever I was working on a unit. At the same time, I didn't want the units to look out of place in vanilla, and so I tried to strike a blend that would satisfy both goals.

I hope you enjoy!

Affected Units
Men-at-Arms and Mounted Yeomen
-Three new helmets have been added in addition to the two they already have.
-Two more faces have been added as well.
-The amount of faction colors has been greatly reduced, they still have plenty but they are no longer completely covered and have more of a brown/leather texture on their clothes.
-More padding and bits of haphazard/scrapped together armor.
-Some of them have leather vambraces, generously donated by Orendiz!

Peasant Bowmen
-Two new head variations have been added, one with a leather cowl and one with a helmet.
-One of the existing heads has an eyepatch to match the tabletop.
-Additional body variants have been added with rarranged detailing and bits.

Knights Errant
-Most of the heads have been replaced, now most of them are helmetless to better showcase their more youthful appearance. There is one totally new helmet as well.
-Some of them have shoulder pads as well.

Questing Knights
-Totally overhauled from top to bottom, with new torsos, legs, heads, bits and detailing.
-Generally less ragged and disheveled, they still have a weathered appearance but they are more knightly.
-Each head and body variant correlates with one of their tabletop models, they might be one of the most tabletop-accurate models in the game right now.
-A lot more variety in appearance: some are young, some are old, some have helmets, some do not.
-The stuff on the backs of their horses has been given more variety as well, instead of just the dresser they have different piles of stuff with them. Some of them don't have it at all.

Foot Squires
-No longer copy-pastes of Questing Knights! They have a totally bespoke look.
-While they don't have a tabletop model to correspond to, I treated them as roughly the equivalent of Knights on foot and designed them as "peasant knights".
-Given more haphazard bits of armor and equipment, most of them now have helmets as well.
-Lots of bling on them that's been rusted and disused, designed to look like their knightly lords have given them hand-me-down equipment.

Field Trebuchet and Blessed Field Trebuchet
-Bretonnia now has unique artillery crewmen!
-The Trebuchets themselves are unchanged, but the guys crewing them aren't just Peasant Bowmen anymore, they have unique appearances to reflect their status as engineers.

Compatibility
This mod is purely graphical and should be compatible with any other mod, though it might behave strangely with other mods that reskin Bretonnia.

Explicitly designed to be compatible with GunKing's Domina Vult V2 4K Bretonnia Knight Reskin, which compliments this mod very well as it reskins most of the units that this mod doesn't. Just make sure you load this mod first!

100% compatible with Lily's Bretonnia Overhaul, a fantastic mod that I highly recommend for all your Bretonnia campaigns. Royal Men-at-Arms from that mod have now been reskinned as well. Just make sure you load my mod before Lily's to see them!

There's built-in, out of the box compatibility for MDavid's Bretonnia Regiment of Renown Pack. Again, just make sure you load this mod first.

All of my other Bretonnia mods are compatible as well. Check down below for links to them.

Credits
I'd like to thank:
-Orendiz, who generously donated several of the assets used by this mod.
-Lily and Dead Baron, who inspired me to start modding, and who both allowed me to use their colored Men-at-Arms helmet. Lily also gave me permission to reskin her Royal Men-at-Arms, so thanks for that!
-Phyrex, who pointed me in the right direction for the Questing Knights' key necklace.
-And last but certainly not least, the good people of the Skeleton Crew discord who patiently helped me with the many technical issues I encountered along the way.

@linkfire12: Hmm, that is troubling. I do notice that there seems to be an issue with the Knights Errant and their legging/shoulder pad colors. I don't know if I can fix the shoulder pads but I'll try and fix the leggings later on.

Sorry I wasn't clear, I meant errant and questing knights.

From what I saw, WH1 texture project seems to be fine other than the lance's, which Dead Baron kindly explained is a CA issue with broken shaders. Although bizarrely, orange lances started appearing when combined with tabletop reskin.

The other knight variants have heraldry issues baked into them with Domina Vult.

The mismatched leggings and shoulder pads mostly appear on the knights errant.

I thought I was going crazy because orange colours only started appearing on other body parts when either mod was combined with tabletop reskin.

@linkfire12: That's definitely troubling and, testing it myself, I do see the issues with the blend of faction colors/heraldry colors on the Knights.

However, I think this issue is between Domina Vult and WH1 Texture project, because this mod doesn't touch Knights of the Realm or Grail Knights at all - only Knights Errant and Questing Knights.

Had trouble playtesting this since it seems to occur with multiple mods, but using this alongside Domina Vult and/or WH1 Texture project appears to cause colour mismatches on Bretonnian knights, in particular their lances, shoulder pads, helm garbs, and leggings.

Orange colours will randomly appear on certain body parts or weapons (pink and orange knight variants don't show up but that's a vanilla problem).

Oh, that was the problem, dlc update did reset my load order and i didn't put them in the same order, sorry for the fasle report

@Hexmorr: Is this mod being loaded before Domina Vult? The two mods are compatible but this one needs to be loaded first.

Hello, for some reasons, helmetless knights errant seems to be gone, tried with only better camera, Domina Vult V2 4K Bretonnia Knight Reskin and your mod

@linkfire12: Thanks for letting me know, I'll take a look at it and hopefully have a fix out soon.

I've discovered that "Defenders of the Fleur-de-lis" have broken helmet variants as of the latest update.
