Description
Greetings fellow mod enjoyers!

I grant to thee - A construction tier mod for your collection.

I made 3 different versions, taking into account that some play with minor tier four or five settlements or simply vanilla. Make sure you have the correct version, at which you should only ever have one of them active when playing.

Ingame screenshots shows a few examples of customized tier 3 settlements.

I listed both Armourygeddon and Resourceful Purpose as requirements, but make sure you only pick ONE of them and do not run BOTH simultanously. This is only needed if you wish to have my custom resources for the greenline & outpost buildings.

What The Mod Does
  • Warriors of Chaos & Wood Elves are now able to upgrade their provincial capitals to tier 5 forests & dark fortresses with minor colonies & altars to tier 3.

  • Warriors of Chaos & Wood Elves are now able to upgrade their different minor outpost buildings to tier 3.

  • Warriors of Chaos & Wood Elves are now able to upgrade all their resource buildings to tier 3.

  • Integrates support for Fröbs' Chaos Ogres mod buildings. Any dark fortresses can have his mod buildings constructed in them if his mod is enabled.

Considerations
  • Can I use the Infrastructure mod alongside 'Frontier Forests & Fortresses'? Yes the 'Infrastructure' mod is compatable with all three variants.

  • Can I build Dark Fortresses anywhere? Yes in any provincial and special capital, as far as I know.

  • Will special capitals like Altdorf still be tier 1 overgrown settlements? Yes, as I think its a game mechanic, but don't know for sure.

  • Can i build forests anywhere? Yes in any provincial capital that is not special like Altdorf.

  • Altar building chain lingers for the custom Dark Fortresses and I have yet to find a way to remove it, if people even wish for it to be removed.

  • Gratitude to Rustic "Kalessin" Citrus for writing the building flavour texts & some of the building names. Work in progress.

Crashes the game in version 6.10.

minor settlement skins always are empty for WE for me :( I tried with different mods and turning off this one solves the empty settlement skin problem

Would it be possible to have some compatibility between this and your Resourceful Benefits mod, so that these factions that normally only have T1 resource buildings now get those factionwide (T1) benefits for their new T2 and T3 resource buildings too?

:sealdeal: Added integrated support for Fröbs' Chaos Ogres, meaning you can now build the Chaos Ogre buildings in all your Dark Fortresses if you have his mod enabled.

You only need to have his mod enabled if you wish to use his extra units/buildings. Without it, this mod will work as usual. :steamsunny:

:sealdeal: My custom resources are now added to the Welf & WoC buildings, if any of the required mods are enabled.

:sealdeal: Outpost/Altars now match their minor settlements and have custom resource support too.

:sealdeal: Added integrated support for my Infrastructure mod, if you happen to use that one too.

Edit to the below - I should clarify main settlement buildings are fine, this is only minor settlement buildings that give no garrison after tier 1

I realise this is probably a mod conflict my side, but none of the main settlement buildings or the outpost buildings are providing me any garrison after tier 1. I presume this is not something this mod is doing on purpose?

I notice all the minor settlement main buildings are all called "Large Outpost"
