Immersive Crimson Court Backgrounds

This mod contains the following:
• Unique boss backgrounds for: Crocodillian, Baron, Viscount, Countess, & Garden Guardian.
• 60 new hallway backgrounds.
• 22 new door backgrounds.
• 10 new mid-layer backgrounds.
• 4 new variants of room backgrounds.
• Edited the existing 25 hallway backgrounds & the colors and lighting of all room backgrounds.
• Incorporated and edited some backgrounds from Erkka (including his Viscount background fix) & Courtyard Plus.
• Made the corridor background's red vivid, and the black darker.
• Moved the top-foreground vegetation upward to increase visibility of corridors.
• Updated vanilla game and Courtyard Plus loading screens to match the new background color.
• Minor visual edits to most Crimson Court and Courtyard Plus curios.


Place this mod above other mods that make changes to the Courtyard.
This mod somewhat expects you to be using Courtyard Plus, but it is not mandatory.

Here I will post unlisted compatibility patches for the boss backgrounds. If you don't care about boss backgrounds, then you don't need a patch. If the mod you use needs a patch and it's not listed here, feel free to request it.

Courtyard Plus by Landgreen, Moon/Void Slime, Anonymous_Koala, ShallowIris
- Incorporated their loading screens, background changes, and new curio design for compatibility. Highly recommend to use Courtyard Plus, but it is not mandatory.

- Took inspiration on their statues on the door backgrounds.

Additional Crimson Court Backgrounds by Da Erkka
- Incorporated their room backgrounds with some edits, and also took some ideas on foundations for some hallway backgrounds (such as tree or rock placements). Heavily recommend this mod if you don't like my changes and want a more vanilla style backgrounds.

Here Be Monsters: The New Shadow by (for the art) Uncanny Gemstar, MetalGy, Zap, MoonKanin, Wellington McSkellington, Ouroboros, RefinedTurtleTrash, Jol Balrok, Sketch.
- Used their Bloodflower and Sycophant Breeder art for some of my hallway backgrounds. Amazing monster mods, consider checking them out.

Stone Angel assets from Moonlit Dungeon. The art was made by Von Krolock.

Compact Circus Icon by o'night
- Used their sign for one of the hallway backgrounds. The sign fit so well I had to incorporate it. Mod is definitely a must if you have ever gotten annoyed on miss-clicking the Circus icon when trying to use the Stage Coach.
