OWB: UTCM Addon - Best of Two Headings

Description

This mod seeks to under a very overlooked aspect of OWB: If your army has the experience, has the best tools in the wasteland, why shouldn't they be able to learn new weapons? Why shouldn't they be able to overcome the obstacles in Urban AND Desert environments? What's stopping a sufficiently large army from having multiple branches, each dedicated to different warfare styles?!

Why does that [XOR] trigger stop us?! Why must it get in our way?! WHO IS DOING THIS, THIS UNJUST RESTRICTION?! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!?

This mod allows you to, after researching a "this or that" (AKA an XOR) technology, refine those findings using your XP (Army/Navy/Air) to take the other tech(s) you'd otherwise be locked out of. Because why CAN'T you have a fast army charging in with power fists while your other armies slowly march forwards with laser rifles?

This mod requires the listed mods, and has special code for if you're playing as the Sierra Depot Enclave, as ERB/ERX currently does some of what this mod does naturally and I don't want to stop on the toes of that experience.

@TsarTheSecond It does not, you likely have a mod that alters the research screen in some capacity that conflicts with UTCM such as Enclave Focuses+

question, does this limit the actual research screen? otherwise i got the weirdest bug, was playing pioneer company, went to go check tree and only new crossroads was there... nothing else not even the lines, its confusing cause ive used this mod before and had no issues, maybe an update caused it?

@Zam138 I solved it, for some reason the comp patch for UTCM and East Coast Rebirth wasn't on disk, even though it was in the playlist. Seems to have solved my issue once I resubbed.

@zam138 Yes, I do. I've been using and enjoying UTCM since it released. I've been trying different load orders to see if it helps it.

@based.Grombler Do you have UTCM and all of its dependencies? Because again, nothing in this mod touches the technology files, tech tree, or the research tab in any way, it only ADDS decisions, and with just this mod, UTCM, and its dependencies I'm able to open the research screen just fine.

I have had the same issue with this mod. New save and all. Removing this mods allows access to the research screen.

@Yesman That isn't this mod's doing, as this mod doesn't touch the research files in any way. All it does is add decisions when it detects you have a technology that prevents you from researching another technology.

Mod seems to prevent accessing the research screen but for some reason the Ultimate tech compatibility + East coast rebirth patch fixes that problem, but that messes up a bunch of tech tree icons on the production screen
