Description


A cleaned-up version of Old World Blues: Wasteland Economy that uses the mass amount of resources you'll accrue with TEME and UTCM's resource buildings, for the prosperity and wellbeing of your nation!

Original Description:
Gifts of the Wastes
Ever wondered why Water - the most precious of Wasteland resources - has no real use? Ever wanted to do something with that 100+ reservoir sitting on top of your production panel?
Well, now you can!

This mod checks your resource every month and grants bonuses according to reserves level (unused ones, those you see at the top of your production panel):

Changed:
- Water-per-Controlled-State: +% Monthy Population Increase (Water Caravans distribution)
- Metal-per-Civ-Factory: +% Construction Speed (Extra Construction Supplies production)
- Electricity-per-Military-Factory: -% Consumer Goods Factor (Energy Cells not allocated to the military)
- Circuitry-per-Controlled-State: +% Factory Efficiency Growth (Available replacement parts distribution)
- Composites-per-Military-Factory: +% Production Efficiency Base and Maximum (Quality Factory parts distribution)
- Advanced components-per-Controlled-State: +% Research Speed (Science team tools distribution)

Original Description, cont.:
Exact percentages depend on your reserves as shown in the trade tab and the size of your nation: the more states & factories you have, the more resources will be needed!

@Loot Goblin it doesn't touch the research tree, you likely have a mod that conflicts with UTCM

@ricefield They'll show up automatically, and will change based on your current situation, depending on how much of a surplus of certain resources you've got based on the resource's compared stat. If you don't have a large enough surplus, or if you don't have enough, you won't have any national spirits

Im playing as ncr and im not seeing the national spirits show up. But I do see the event waateland economy showing up if i type the command in console.
Am I supposed to build water plants or etc first to see the spirits?

@Swaitchy you should see it as a National Spirit; these six spirits will be self-deleted and immediately reapply themselves every so often so it'll be frequently-updating

Do you know where we can see the % effect the surplus is having?

@decoratedmean60 no, it solely calculates based off of how large your surplus of resources is compared to another, applicable stat.
