Progression

Description
The Progression Mod - Marketplace Adjustments, hero and item additions, faster progression to end-game content with Hyper Mode and more.

This mod made from a combination of ideas and mods (from several other mods):

Enchanteur's World Generator Full Customization - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=550829400
ninakoru's Endless Heroes and Re-Items - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=818353568 & https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=868067708
fb.aazzoggerr's Hidden Alloys - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=749560565
Hokath's Mightier and Magicker - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=885964408
Milk's Traits Unlocked - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=610359813
WayneNore's Diplomatic Emperor - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=840763550
Zen Tractor's Dynamic Game Speeds- https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=564038750
Turk's More Faction Trait Points - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=565494513

NOTE: So also keep in mind these mod's may not function correctly with this mod. Mods can change similiar/same files.

The focus was two things to give a faster progression/new experience to the game and do it within one mod so it was easy to add for everyone.

Why didn't I just make a collection?

This mod by itself currently does Marketplace Adjustments and has Hyper Modes (1x, 2x, 3x). Progression of a game is more than just speed settings.
Item and hero changes will also help with this, as well as altered or new research items.
Progression will be evolving to further change all these things. So I searched for mods that this mod would interfere with and merged them with this mod.
I did however link these mods above, and you should definately check them out as well.

Hyper Game Speed/Mode is for those who only have a couple hours to play and want to be able to finish a game within that timeframe while still making it to the later parts of the content (Era's, quests etc).

This mod adds the following:
- Marketplace Adjustments, more affordable and booster items show up more frequently.
- Increased Movement *Optionally via Hyper2x and Hyper3x Modes
- Adjusted Research and Construction costs in Hyper Modes

+ (from inclusion or variations of other mods):

- Total freedom to do what you want with the world generation process, unlock all -parameters, even some hidden ones.
- World Generator: Breaks down all basic vanilla options into component parts, for precise adjustments, and expand available ranges.
- World Generator: All constraints removed. Use it at your own risks, choosing incompatibles options could give unexpected results, same when choosing extremes values.
- Merged or added extra functions to niche skills
- A pass on skill positions and pre-reqs with the aim of avoiding having to spec into governor skills while trying to build a general and vice versa
- Adds on average between 3 and 4 new skills to all* factions and combat types (+1 in the common tree), with many giving heroes extra capacities (e.g. stun, retaliation, sweep strike, etc)
- Improved Diplomatic Relations with AI
- Tradeable Cities
- Added Bunch of heroes to the roster. 140 heroes, 12 per faction and 8 special heroes.
- Hero market has now from 30 to 50 max slots for heroes (45 + 5 exclusive).
- All the abilities (Food Efficiency or Health Boost) are fairly balanced, and for each faction are usually of the same type the original heroes had. No overpowered heroes.
- Can now research technologies for Tier 2 Hyperium, Mithrire and Tier 3 Titanium, Glassteel, Adamantium, Palladium, Hyperium, Mithrite weapons\armors\accessories to ensure that you'll get all items instead of relying on random quest rewards.
- New Dust-powered Glassteel/Titanium weapons and armor, improved versions of normal Glassteel/Titanium with some gold cost, available at entering era IV. Each tier is unlocked once you know the same tier normal Glassteel/Titanium technology. Tier 3 dust-powered weapons are comparable to Tier 1 mithrite/hyperium weapons.
- New outfit uniques: two greaves, two torsos and two helmets, each one with a different strategic type, that can be discovered on ruins or quests like hero unique weapons.
- Adds faction affinities, quests and units to be usable for custom factions.

Most of the things added are either extra options or more content, as to preserve normal gameplay when wanted.

This mod is subject to further modification and I'm open to suggestions. More updates coming soon!

Does this work with ELCP?

Hello,

I like the mod selection verry much.
But some friends and I tested them and found a critical bug.
The luxury boosts last only one round.

After some tests we can say, that it comes from your mod. If we use all the mods you collected without your mod it works just fine.

We use this community patch:
https://www.games2gether.com/endless-legend/forums/15-modding/threads/30618-endless-legend-community-patch
Maybe it doesn't work together with your mod, but all the others did.

I had an issue with this mod disabling the Altar of Auriga Blessings. You cannot pick them anymore even though the first winter is past.

Cultists are still pretty solid since you can conquer other cities as them (and keep them), you just can't settle. Just don't take the pillaging city abilities.

If there was the possiblity to allow the Cultists; or any custom faction using the Cultists visual affinity to create more than 1 settlement that would be awesome

@ HappyHead & TeKett: This mod combines a bunch of other mods. With respect to the world generation mod it used: if you make the settings too extreme graphical bugs will happen. Usually a combination of terrain height settings and an inappropriate Geo Terrain Height for them causes that. See the description of that setting in advanced world settings when you have this mod booted up.

For further questions you should ask the creator of the 'World Generator Full Customization' mod (see link in description of this mod above). All that being said I like the flavor of this mod quite a bit.

@Author of this mod: Any chance you could add some other speed settings to this mod, (in particular those in the Dynamic Game Speeds mod)?

require Dlc?

If it IS because of this mod, I'd imagine some wonky world generation may be in effect.
Did you do anything particularly crazy with the world gen?
TeKett 29 Aug, 2017 @ 12:40pm
links was pictures, nvm about them then

I think its because of this mod, but on some tiles unit models go trough the ground, like everything past some elevation, but only while going up/down terain are they normal.
