Update: 1 Oct, 2019 @ 12:25pm

Most rockets have had their Radius increased by 25%.

Rocket Launchers are now compatible with Rocketeer perks of the LW2 Technical and RPGO.

The Rocket Launcher can be equipped instead of the Gauntlet.

Technicals from LW2 Classes and Perks will have one rocket shot by default, and able to use any of the additional rocket shots obtained by default, such as Concussion Rocket or Bunker Buster.

RPGO Rocketeers will have to unlock the Shock and Awe perk to get one rocket shot in the Launcher itself.

Both can still carry additional rockets in the Utility Slots.

The Javelin Rockets perk will extend the range of most of the utility slot rockets as well.

Update: 30 Jul, 2019 @ 6:27pm

-- The list of Salvo-like abilities that allow firing rockets to not end turn can now be configured in XComRockets.ini.
-- Number of action points required to fire the rocket can now be configured individually for every rocket.
-- Individual icon sets for Standard, Plasma and Elerium rockets.
-- Improved tactical information displayed about the rockets in the armory.
-- Friendly units hit by Napalm rocket will no longer move, nor will they create burning trails.
-- New Experimental Rocket: Thermobaric. This rocket deals high environmental damage and deals bonus damage to units near cover, but it doesn't Shred, and it not effective against enemies with high Armor.

Update: 22 Jul, 2019 @ 12:36pm

-- Lockon Rockets can now be configured to have bonuses to Hit and Crit that scale with target size, same as with Sabot rockets. These bonuses are zero by default.

-- Napalm Rocket now forces enemies to move (like Flush), spreading the fire as they move. Moving enemies are easier to hit with reaction fire. Commit warcrimes by combining Napalm with Area Suppression and Overwatch.

-- Plasma Ejector - now deals a very large amount of damage, but that damage gets weaker with distance and with each additional target. Having to power through cover reduces damage as well. Also now has a longer firing animation and new camera work, similar to Sabot.

The default balancing for the Plasma Ejector is that it's able to oneshot a Sectopod on Legend difficulty, provided it's standing right on the next tile to the shooter.

-- Icon sets for Napalm Rocket and Plasma Ejector.

Update: 19 Jul, 2019 @ 4:43pm

-- Take Rocket / Give Rocket animations are mostly properly synced now.

-- Sabot Rocket has a new icon set, and its damage been changed slightly. It now deals ~10 damage on hit and ~15 damage on crit. Three hits or two crits will kill a Sectopod on Legend. One crit will kill a Berserker. Also Sabot Rocket now piereces 6 armor instead of 999. Updated Sabot's description to match the current functionality.

-- Lockon rockets should have a better camera work when missing. Also added icons for the Lockon rocket.

-- Abilities that "disable" weapons, such as Codex's Psionic Bomb, will now also Disarm rockets.

Update: 15 Jul, 2019 @ 8:56am

-- You should no longer be able to "launch" grenades with a Rocket Launcher.

-- Lockon rocket can now be fired in three ways:

1) Top Attack - unlimited range, ignores cover, requires Holo Target, requires clear sky above shooter and target.

2) Direct Shot against robotic enemies. Requires line of sight, requires the target to be outside High Cover, takes 2 actions.

3) Direct Shot against Holo Targeted enemies. Requires line of sight, requires the target to be outside High Cover, takes 1 action. Requires Holo Target (duh).

-- Fine tuned Rockets' radius a bit, it should now be closer to Grenades' radius, when configured with same numbers.
