Beta v9:

  • Removed the bonus charge of Repair from Plated and Powered BITs.
  • Fixed issue with Cuthroat crit bonus stacking when applied to a unit multiple times.
  • Warlock Mind Scorch can now target robots.
  • The Point Blank and Both Barrels abilities no longer are affected by Quickdraw.
  • Fixed missing or duplicate rulers appearing on the covert op troop column mission. Depending on shadow chamber or timing might not affect things until the next time the mission spawns.
  • Covering Fire: no longer applies the -10 aim penalty after the fact, when taken, overwatch now ignores 2/3 of cover bonuses. Also applies to Suppression, Return Fire, and Avenger if the soldier has Covering Fire.
  • Avatar project should be revealed after liberating a region if it hasn't yet been revealed.
  • Watch Them Run ability/item list exposed to config thanks to Mr. Mister on discord.
  • Behind-the-scenes rework of gauntlet rocket charges for improved compatibility thanks to Whiterun Guard on discord.

Beta v8 (v7 didn't get published):

More Spark stuff again:

  • CPL and SGT ranks swapped.
  • Open Fire replaced with Target Focus.
  • At SGT, Holo Targeting swapped with a new combo perk that grants Adaptive Aim in addition to Holo Targeting.
  • Traverse Fire moved from MSGT to TSGT, replacing Precision Shot.
  • Disabling Shot added at MSGT.
  • XCom deck changes: Adaptive Aim removed from T1 deck. Suppression removed from T1 deck (bugged interaction with Overdrive). Dedication moved from T2 to T1. Layered Armor moved from T2 to T1. Impulse and Open Fire added to T2 deck.
  • Neutralize Protocol is now 1 AP non-turn ending, no longer free action. Cooldown reduced from 5 to 4.
  • Sacrifice cooldown changed from 6 to 5.
  • Spark Rifles lose their bonus aim, crit chance, and magazine size. LW2 added this because they could not equip attachments, but they now can. Beam tier spark cannon goes to 4 ammo from 5 instead of all the way to 3.
  • Bonus dodge from plated and powered BITs now shows up in the armory stats.
  • Reinforced Frame HP bonus changed from 3 to 4.[/ul]

    Other things:
  • -1 covert action available per resistance influence level.
  • Another attempt to bugfix Chosen Reinforce happening too often.

Beta V6:

SPARK tweaks:

  • SPARK Ablative detached from Carapace Plating and now is 3/5/7, scaling with armor tier.
  • SPARK loses 2 HP and 25 hack at squaddie.
  • Plated BIT gives +2 HP when using repair (instead of +1) and now gives 10 dodge. Powered BIT gives +4 HP when using repair (instead of +2) and gives 20 dodge.
  • Repair now fully restores ablative HP in addition to existing effects.
  • Adaptive Aim replaced with Open Fire, Adaptive Aim added to T1 XCOM deck.
  • Sacrifice and Channeling Field combined into one perk. Shredder in the spot of Channeling Field at SSGT. Precision Shot added at TSGT in place of Shredder.
  • Enhanced Repair Systems no longer provides +4 HP to Repair, but now causes a free use of Repair to activate when the SPARK is put into Reboot/Sustain. Provides 1 additional repair charge.
  • A bunch of XCOM deck shuffles, including a few new abilities, including a half damge bladestorm and something to give more hack stat.[/ul]

    Other stuff:

  • Fixed Channeling Field to activate on more things and not use use the stack unless the attack hits.
  • Tweaked new version of XMB a bit more.
  • Added missing 10 base crit to level 5 Chosen on Commander/Legend.

* Undo MCO because it caused all chosen actions to be borked (enjoy CAD in April, lol)

beta 5v2 -

  • Nerf spark repair since it's now at squaddie. Now only has 1 charge at all tiers of bit, and taking Enhanced Systems will grant 2 more charges.
  • Make pod diversity system smarter by having it re-determine the most common pod member after each pod reroll attempt, tweak values a bit, add additional check for pod sizes of 8 or more.
  • MCO the X2ChosenActionTemplate class to fix a bug with the chosen action global cooldown not working until Highlander fix is implemented.

Hotfix so beta doesn't break Kiruka's SPARK overhaul by turning the 4th row into an XCOM deck thing. Spark will get AP but can't spend it without the same rank 2nd wave option.

hotfix

- Fixed SPARK xcom row working like a normal row and not an xcom row

- attempted to fix soulstorm cover destruction not surrounding unit. needs testing still
- added new config array to exclude classes from custom pistol row costs, for classes that don't use the pistol row and instead mix pistol perks into the tree or xcom decks.
- golden path network tower should now be doable without contacting the region its in. Will affect campaigns where the GP network tower isn't revealed yet.

  • Fix typo in warlock zombie config.
  • Add chosen to red fog immunity list.

beta V5

  • Tweaked 'Chosen Supply Raid' mission: Now limited to 6 soldiers, revealed start, and strength is fixed at 4 (including chosen modifier), and rewards rebalance.
  • SPARK tree rework. Three new rows with new perks from Mechatronic Warfare plus full XCOM decks. Still experimental and subject to change, especially the xcom decks.
  • Infrastructure to properly support force levels above 20 in the base game systems.
  • Fixed issue with pod diversity system not applying to reinforcement pods when above FL20.
  • Rulers should now be able to spawn on the Detachment mission that comes from the new covert op.
  • Increased the frequency of Archons in the Corpses covert op reward pool for FL15 and higher.
