Balancing:
- Made the guru fights easier.
- You now longer can take tons of weapons off the corpses at the Free Mine.
- Strengthened demons.
- Strengthened Storm Fist.

Fixes:
- Script improvements by n1kx applied.
- The spell scroll textures for transform into wolf, orc dog and shadowbeast assigned correctly.
- You can now talk to Cipher from the start and an unaccessible dialogue is now accessible due to it.
- Adjusted the names of the gore settings.

Worlds:
- Filled a hard to reach spot in the Old Mine.
- Put a few items in the surface world.
- Removed an amulet which floated in the void below the orc city.
- Removed a bolt which floated in the void in the Free Mine.

English version:
- Fixed a typo in a Chromanin hint.
- Fixed a typo in one of Sly's dialogues.

Bug fixes:
- Silent dialogues should not happen as often anymore.
- The new options in the game menu now recognise existing SystemPack.ini settings.
- Baal Cadar now also gets new items in chapters 5 and 6.
- Correct several errors in the subtitles.
- Adjusted dialoge conditions, when a member of a different camp goes to Lares.
- Adjusted conditions for dialogues with Thorus a bit.
- Smithing NPCs no longer have tons of blades in their inventories.
- Smithing hammers no longer disappear from the inventory, when using an anvil without glowing steel.
- Jumps in the air actually don't work anymore...
- There were nameless digger dialogues in the Old Mine, which you couldn't hear, because no digger was assigned that voice. A few diggers now have those dialogues.
- The same was true for dialogues of nameless rogues in the cauldron of the Free Mine.
- Aleph now doesn't sell information for 10 ore anymore, if you tell Brandick about him.
- Lefty's death now also cancels the quest, if you delivered the water to the peasants before.
- Fixed a bug which caused Grim to sometimes not attack the player in chapter 4.
- Removed the quest item flag from horns. They also stack now.
- Burning damage is now also applied at high fps values.
- Fixed a bug that you could sell joints to Cipher without losing them.
- The way a trader's separate trading inventory works has been changed. There is no longer any lag and unequipping of weapons. A rare crash has also been fixed.
- Fixed a bug which canceled swimming inside the Abandoned Mine.
- You only get a diary message the first time you trade with Silas now.
- Orcs no longer ignore melee attacks with the Ulu-Mulu.
- Bloodwyn can no longer be paid after refusing him first and having joined a camp.
- Bloodwyn now actually takes 10 ore, when you pay him after first refusing him.
- Bloodwyn and Jackal are no longer sometimes hostile from the start in chapter 4.
- NPCs should no longer give endless warnings about entering huts.
- Fixed an error in AI which caused late game NPCs not to finish off the player.
- Fixed errors in Gorn's AI.

Worlds:
- The Old Mine is now blocked by rocks.
- A couple more empty places filled in.
- Barrels in Silas's tavern no longer clip through a wall (happened only with the renderer).
- There is now a pentagram for teleportation in the Swamp Camp.
- In the orebaron's house beams from the first floor no longer poke through the second floor.
- The arena is now illuminated when it gets dark.
- Put a floating ladder in the Old Mine on the ground.
- Made the orcish heart shrines solid.
- Removed a floating barrel in the castle tower.
- Removed an invisible object, which you could focus and interact with, near the arena.
- Lowered two floating plants near the mountain fort.
- Lowered some floating rocks in various places.
- Removed an item in the void below the goblin cave.

Balance:
- Increased the damage of weapons with low range.
- Cost of digger, shadow, rogue and novice armors lowered, since buying them didn't make sense.
- Skill point cost of pickpocketing halved and more useful items distributed among strong/immortal NPCs.
- The 5 demonlords now use magic (each of them a different kind) in the endfight to make it less boring.
- The book The Art of Fighting can now be bought too.
- Arrows break more often now.
- Brittle Bow and Short Bow have more damage now.
- Young scavengers and molerats have lower protection against arrows.
- Lowered the value of Rice Schnapps in accordance with game dialogues, which say it is cheaper than beer.

Other:
- Italian translation added.
- Empty chests are now described as empty in their name.
- In ranged combat mode the amount of arrows/bolts is now displayed. (It can be disabled in the options.)
- You can now use the hole at the marketplace to break into the castle.
- Kirgo and the hero now actually drink the beer.
- NPCs can now pickpocket the hero.
- Injured NPCs no longer eat/drink all kinds of food.
- The High Robe of Fire can now be bought, once you have learned the 4th circle of magic instead of in the 3rd chapter.
- The High Robe of Water can now be bought, once you have learned the 5th circle of magic or once you have both learned the 4th circle of magic and freed the Free Mine. Previously it was enough to learn the 4th circle of magic or be in the 5th chapter.
- Removed the option to shave the beard. (Because there are multiple members of the brotherhood with a beard and the texture wasn't very good.)
- The unused weapon Heartbreaker now appears in the game.
- Cor Angar has his Amulet of Magic from Gothic 2.
- Alcoholic drinks now regenerate 1 mana as they do in Gothic 2.
- The wolf on Mordrag's path is now young to further decrease the chance that Mordrag dies to it.
- The temple minecrawler near Gor Boba was moved to further decrease the chance that Gor Boba dies to it.
- Templars in the Sleeper's Temple don't react to fights between the hero and minecrawlers anymore.
- The amount of remaining lockpicks is now displayed, when you have a chest which you can lockpick in focus. (Can be disabled in gothic.ini)
- Put a longer music track into the installer.
- Updated the DX11 renderer in the installer to version v17.8-dev17.
- Updated Ikarus & LeGo to their current github status.

English version text fixes:
- Fixed a grammatical error at Torrez ("it's" -> "its")
- Made the capitalization of diary entries consistent (can lead to double entries if you continue a saved game)
- Reverted several changes in meaning introduced by the official English translation:
-- Changed "Troll Nightshade" to "Bellatrolla" to preserve the German play on words.
-- Removed "sword" from the combat skill names in the status screen.
-- Changed the title of the first and sixth chapter.
-- Renamed Quentin's "thug"s to "robber"s.
-- Renamed "Blade of Light" to "Lightbringer".
-- Renamed "Ring of Power" to "Ring of Force" and "Warrior's Ring of Power" to "Ring of Power".
-- Fixed a mistranslation in the book "Astronomy".

Scripts:
- The elixir of healing now has the correct model.
- Burned-out torches cannot be used anymore.
- Moved one of the wolves near Aidan to make Mordrag dying less likely.
- You can no longer lure Kalom into lava.
- Your movement is now completely blocked for a short moment after Kalom's teleportation.
- There are now a couple of guard corpses at the Free Mine.
- You no longer keep moving backwards when under the effect of a fear or control spell.
- Obsolete dialogues are no longer available at Gorn at the monastery ruin. (You could send him back to the New Camp this way.)
- Milten should now always teleport away from the ore heap.
- Baal Tondral now also talks to you at night, if you bring Dusty to him.
- Baal Namib now sells the novice armor once you have brought back the focus instead of in chapter 3.
- Fixed a rare bug, which made NPCs permanently "angry" instead of "hostile" and prevented them from attacking the hero.
- You can no longer pickpocket "fake" items, which exist only for display in item interactions.
- Fixed a bug that you temporarily couldn't buy Whistler's Sword from Fisk after trading with him.
- Added options to set dynamic HP bar hiding, interface scaling and Gothic 2 controls to the settings menu.
- Reduced earthquake effect in the end fight.
- Grim now correctly chooses between "I ..." and "We ..." after having lured the player.
- Corrected several errors in the English and Polish translations and translated two untranslated lines.
- Corrected several typos in the German text.

Engine:
- Fixed NPCs not reacting when hit by an attack from far away in free aim mode.
- You no longer jump upwards in mid-air when hit by an enemy.
- Replaced the FPS limiter with a new one, which can be configured in the game settings.

Worlds:
- The skeletons in the mountain fort now spawn, when you pull the lever, as they tended to aggro before and clip through the wall.
- Thanks to the tool zSlang more objects now have the correct collision setting.
- Removed or lowered some items floating in the void above the game world in the Sleeper's Temple.
- Filled an empty chest in the monastery ruin.

Balance:
- Dexterity is now added to the damage of ranged weapons as strength is added to the damage of melee weapons. Weapons, monster protections and armors have been adjusted.
- The Healing spell now heals 5% of total health (but a minimum of 10) per mana.
- Reduced the casting time of Wave of Death and Control. Increased the damage of Wave of Death.

Textures:
- Included m0a9r1c1el's font fix and fixed its lack of apostrophs.

- Major bug in fights with gurus fixed: It can no longer happen, that their fear spell keeps dealing damage forever.
- You can now bet on an arena fight in chapter 2 and 3 each (only with a new game).
- The English and Polish versions now have the correct END text in dialogues (only with a new game).
- The chest of the Ricelord can no longer be opened without the lockpicking talent.
- One of the minecrawlers near Gor Boba placed further away.
- Ore, which you spend in exchange for armors or talents in dialogues, now can no longer be stolen back. This also fixes an exploit to obtain infinite armors.
- "Ring of the Cannibal" renamed to "Ring of the Carnivore", translation fixed, effect reduced, now doubles health from meat consumption
- The patches "KeepTraderWeapons" and "FreeAiming" are now deactivated, since their functions are already implemented.
- Adjusted several dialogue conditions for Gorn in the monastery ruin.
- The last undead orc priest is immune against all magic (besides Uriziel) and summoned golems again.
- The summoned golem now deals less damage.
- Two hard to reach places in the beginning section of the orc graveyard are no longer empty.
- Increased the strength of orc scouts and hunters.
- You can now sell Cipher 50 joints for 400 ore, if you have unlocked him as a trader (only with a new game).

- Enemy mages now cast less frequently on Easy and Normal.
- The chests before the end fight habe a couple extra useful potions.
- Collision of the winch and gate in front of the Abandoned Mine fixed.

- A couple of Grim's dialogues have been deactivated in chapter 3+.
- Grim & Herek now flee in chapter 4.
- Stone now loses invincibility after you have received his reward.
- The descriptions of the ore armors were shortened, so that they are no longer cut off.

Fixes:
- Fixed a bug in Union's Gothic 2 controls, which caused women and meditating NPCs to repeat their line endlessly. (thanks to TopLayer)
- The barrier now always kills and you should no longer be able to escape it using certain tricks.
- The burn mark on the ground, when you get hit by the barrier, has been removed, because it caused a graphical error in combination with the DX11 renderer.
- Nefarius and Riordian should no longer have issues casting their lightning ball spells.
Balancing:
- Increased the strength of many monsters of the 4th & 5th chapter.
- Orcs, wolves and orc dogs now always attack as a group.
Other:
- Health bars are now only displayed, if they are not full or you are in combat. If you don't want that, you can deactivate it in gothic.ini (Deactivate_HP_Bar_Hiding=1).
- Baloro's Quest now fails automatically.
- The mage at the cliff now has Pyrokar's face from G2.
- A few empty places were filled in.

- Adjusted the range of all weapons with help of Marvin Helper's "print weapons" tool, so that now it is actually based on the length of the model.
- Fixed a typo in the German version ("Pergamenthäfte")
- Fixed a bug, which caused the changed appearance of an NPC to return to its original one.
- Due to popular demand, members of the sect now have the option at Cor Kalom to have beard or head shaved.
