Oopsie poopsie

I was testing the boost pads, so I moved the spawn up there and forgot to move it back when I compiled. SORRY!!!

Made the landing area way nicer, added dash panels/sfx (including the ramp), added the railings which are always kinda annoying to make, added "Waluigi Pinball" sign in landing area

Also, I changed the title to have Mario Kart in it so it appears in search results better (hopefully)

Deleted a weird spawn outside of the map; the room's still there (I plan to eventually make it the spawn area after I get soundscaps figured out; I want the Waluigi Pinball theme to play in there kinda muffled-like, as if you're about to enter a club and you hear the music from outside), but you gotta noclip to it if you really wanna be there (there is nothing though, so why would you?)

Ok, so I figured out there's a parameter on a trigger_catapult that varies the player's angle when launched aaaaaand it's set to one by default... Which basically means the launcher jiggled the player around a lot. Now that it's set to 0, it's SO much smoother! Also, boost-pads are on the way :>>>

The rails on the green track are back, started work on getting some soundscapes in order, added the two outer thirds Waluigi's sign, and did a lot with the world geometry to make the map feel much more whole :)) Also, Waluigi now has legs and there's an empty room outside the map (that's gonna be where the player starts after I figure out how the frick to get soundscapes working :/

Added a lot of the world geometry (the body of the pinball machine around the map), fixed the starting/ending hallways to be nicer (will make a lot better later). Added Big Waluigi's sign that sits behind him.

Itty bitty change; turns out you need to create a folder in the "maps" folder named "thumb," then put the icon in THERE, not next to the .bsp in "maps." My bad!!!

WOO HOO! What an accomplishment this update's been!

So many issues caused by an action as simple as tilting the map, from func_rotatings to tracktrains to doors and all SORTS of other things that don't agee with angles without a hefty fight!

There are some upsides, though; in my experimentation with func_tracktrains and the positions of the track itself, I discovered some cool geometric patterns by putting the origins of each train in the center of the circle (and also a funny meme where they spun so fast they broke the sound barrier).

I also learned that, in order to get a func_door working on an incline, you just gotta parent it to a separate func_door that corrects it (thanks ShiroKitsune for giving me the idea!!!)

This update marks a big ol' turning point in this map's development; now that the main structure of the track is completed, I can finally start work on the finer details; the map will be fully completed before we know it!

It's always a joy to share the process of mapping with other people like YOU who take an interest in it! Thank you so much for reading, and please, enjoy the update :)

Added a map icon for the gmod menu, added the item box sfx to faintly play on the middle roller, and raised the details on the floor a bit so they don't glitch out aaaaaaand they still glitch out. Welp, I'm going to bed (I lied about being here all night).
