Version 5.6:
• Added 1 new Weald room background called CrowTree.
• Updated the sky of the Couple Grave Weald room background. Added stars and changed the Moon.

Version 5.5:

Changes for the Weald only:
• Added 1 new room background called NightTree.
• Fixed an issue where some mushrooms were getting stretched in several hallway and door backgrounds. This is a vanilla issue, but it became more noticeable when a glow was added to mushrooms.
• Slightly reduced the glow on some mushrooms.
• Added a bit of noise to mushroom's glow.
• Made some special effects a bit more subtle.
• Other minor bug fixes.

Expect more room backgrounds and further improvements.

Version 5.4:

Ruins hallway backgrounds' changes:
• Fixed the lighting of some hallway and door backgrounds not seamlessly connecting to other hallway/door backgrounds.
• Made several shading and lighting improvements to various objects to make them blend better with their surroundings.
• Added some missing shadows to some objects.
• Minor changes to some blood.

Ruins room backgrounds' changes:
• Improved the shading and lighting of several objects.
• Added a bit of noise to blood to better match the noise of vanilla backgrounds.
• Cleaned out some noise artifacts.
• Added missing shadows to some objects.
• Renamed the ECpathway background so it doesn't overwrite one of the EC backgrounds. Now you'll have two variants, EC's version that has a misty town background, and mine that has a sealed entrance to the Darkest Dungeon.
• Other minor changes and bug fixes.

Hotfix for Courtyard+ Users:

Removed some Courtyard curios that conflicted with Courtyard+ with the removal of the skeletons when mod load order is not properly set. These changes will be moved to the Courtyard+ compatibility patch.

Hotfix for Linux/Steam Deck Users:
Removed skeleton files and atlas files for all edited curios. Hopefully this will finally fix the issue where Linux builds sometimes get error messages claiming they can't find certain curios.

This change has no impact on the mod. If you have a mod that replaces curios, then place them above this mod.

• Added 2 new room backgrounds.

Darkest Dungeon Quest 4:
• Added 3 more variations of the hallway backgrounds to prevent same background looping.
• Changed the animation of the hallway background so it continues moving even while walking.

• Added vignette to the final boss background to hide the edges while it rotates and to slightly hide the blurred the effect.
• Made changes to the background animation so the heart is more centered and prominent.
• Brightened the veins around the heart.

Version 5.2:
Following changes are for Darkest Dungeon Q1 only:

• Every hallway background has been assigned to a group. This makes it so adjacent hallway backgrounds make more sense by placing one from the same group. Here's some images to better relay what this means:
- Hallway leading to Ancestor Knapsack
- Hallway leading to boss room

• Added 10 new hallway backgrounds for DD1.
• Edited the map so each corridor has a different group of hallway backgrounds, with some exceptions.
• Rearranged some room backgrounds in the map.
• Made some edits to the door backgrounds to make it compatible to some new hallway backgrounds.
• Edited the Random07 room background to have more tentacles sprouting from the ground, and some other minor additions.
• Edited the Random10 room background. Added walls to the sides, added depth to the ceiling by adding a thick layer to the holes, removed some unfitting adornment placements, added a pillar sticking through the ceiling, and other minor changes.

Version 5.1:

Following changes are for Darkest Dungeon Q1 only:

• Severely edited the "Random10" room background. Here's an image of the new look: Random10

Expect background reworks, more new backgrounds, and more hallway backgrounds for DD1

Currently also working on a DD1 map overhaul with a completely different map that requires going through three trials with mini-bosses to obtain 3 keys to unlock the room to the final boss. It will have several new curios, traps, & obstacles themed around the Darkest Dungeon, some secrets, and a few new rewards.

• 20 new hallway backgrounds.
• 6 new room backgrounds.
• A new boss background for the Shuffling Horror.
