  • More performance improvements.
  • Applied a possible fix for NullReferenceException when patching designators.
  • Thing rotation is now considered when updating the visibility versus the player visible areas (should mainly affect centipedes)

  • Fixed a bug causing sieges to not be able to place constructions in undiscovered areas and immediately assaulting the player's colony.
  • Fixed a bug preventing designators to be patched (this is why Allows Tools mod was working...)

  • Environmental info are hidden when pointing an unknown area (but info overlay radius will includes unknown cells when pointing the know area perimeter... the vanilla code isn't easy to patch... this is the best the mod can do)

  • Improved performances (with optimization and bug fixing).
  • Increased fog fading time.
  • Added surveillance cameras (with a placeholder graphic)
  • Added watch towers (with a placeholder graphic)
  • Glowing objects don't provide vision anymore (replaced by surveillance cameras)
  • On intense and extreme difficulties, turrets don't provide vision anymore but can automatically fire to unseen targets.
  • Raids, visitors and every non player related event alert is now locked at the starting position and does not follow anymore the event origin thing when it moves.

  • Added a fast fading effect on fog transitions.
  • Only visible things can be picked and used for bills.
  • Most commands can be performed only on revealed areas and on visible things.
  • Non revealed areas can be designated for mining.
  • Grow and stockpile zones can be placed only on revealed areas.
  • Some performance improvements (compensated by fog fading effect).

Beta v0.1.6

  • Handled pawn faction changes (mainly recruitment): removed FoV from old faction FoW and add FoV to new one.
  • Animals participate to FoW only if trained for release and have an assigned master.
  • FoW is update as soon a "view blocker" thing is created or destroyed.
  • The FoV updater component is disabled on objects that don't participate to FoW (should help on performance).
  • Mod components are not added anymore to motes (should help on performance).
  • Added some checks to prevent run-time errors.
