I see there was an attempt to update the mod and people say there may be errors.

I forked this mod when Rimworld 1.3 first came out, since the mod was not being updated at that time.

I still update and support it, as well as add compatibility features, when possible. you can try it out:

Having the exact same error (jobdriver threw exception) as @TurtleShroom and @xkp92110(orick). Pawn goes to comms console and just stand there idle, and them move on to do something else. Removed this mod and the comms works again.

I can confirm that I am experiencing the exact same error that Orick is facing. I narrowed it down to JUST this Mod.

Updated to 1.3. I came back from a bit of hiatus and plan to add support for more VFE factions and possibly better configuration.

Does this Mod work with the Empire DLC and its Honor Quests? I haven't gotten any after my first game year.

@Leugimimi I tried it with Nocomms Simplified and it worked perfectly, I believe Tribal Signal Fires should work too as (I think) the mod uses a reskinned comms console as a base.

@8Z Quick question: I noticed that Call for Intel cannot find silver when it is stored in the modded "Infinite Silver Storage" from [KV] Infinite Storage. Is there a way I can patch this easliy or would it require some kind of update either on this side or [KV]'s?

@Leugimimi If those mods use the same C# class as the comms console, yes. Otherwise, no. I did not account for those mods so can't be sure.

This is similar to a mod that I was planning to make a spiritual successor of (RimQuests, which has long since been abandoned). Glad to see someone else had the same idea and took it upon themselves; this was very much needed for later in the game. Thanks for creating this!

@Gyger I looked into your logs and it seems like the issue is that the settlement related to the quest has failed to generate. I cannot replicate this, so I can only assume it's some faction-related mod causing it.

Can you play with that save some more and see if it is only Call For Intel causing the issue? This mod uses vanilla methods to generate quests and it shouldn't encounter this normally.

@Kyogon As of right now, all quests are hard-coded and I will have to manually add each mod. If the mod gets popular enough that other creators want to add compatibility, I will consider refactoring the code.

the signal fire response with co-ordinates and quest description would be a nightmare : P
