This is a very useful mod. Thanks Aleks.

Since version 1.4.1, I've updated the default beacon colors to be more accessible for users with color vision deficiencies:

- Orange: Items and custom entities (previously red)
- Cyan: Human corpses (previously green)
- Blue: Animal carcasses (unchanged)

These colors provide better contrast and visibility for all users. If you prefer the previous color scheme or want to customize colors, please see the customization options in the mod description. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

Well mission is beyond the scope of this mod I think. Right now it can only highlight some entities like items, or NPC,...

do you have function for mission? anytime check the map , it's very hard to play.... thx

@Real Minimal to zero, it just adds the particle effects for 5s when you press the hotkey. So you properly won't notice anything about performance.

@Talok Thanks, I see, I don't use Vortex myself either. Perhaps I will update the description to avoid misleading.

Vortex is an absolute mess. For every one feature you name that is an advantage I can name 2 aspects of the program that are an absolute mess.

Anyway though, thanks for the mod and thank you for posting it here. It is much appreciated.

does it have impact on performance

@Talok
No jokes at all. The way workshop works right now in this game to my understanding, there is no easy way for users to make changes to the mod configuration files inside the mod folder itself. To bypass this I had to set 2 fixed paths

C:\KCD2Mods\LootBeacon\
D:\KCD2Mods\LootBeacon\

for my mod to scan the extra configuration files there. With manual installation or Vortex, you just have to navigate to the mods folder, make changes to the configuration file which comes with the mod and that's it, no extra steps.

Perhaps I'm missing something as I'm still new to modding, but I saw that other mods which have customizable settings face the same issue. For example: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3445797989

So, what do you think?
Talok 17 Apr @ 6:58pm
Easier 'mod management' with Vortex. Dude has jokes.
