Ayalin Premium Rogue Class Mod

Description
This mod is focused on improving the Rogue Class game experience and contains:

- Since 3.0 (update 26/08/2022), a fully reworked hero skill tree (see dedicated discussion topic here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/1763432370/3315233099221472561/)

- One new brand Rogue unit, the “Giant Raven Rider” (Tiers III), declined in 9 different versions for the 9 races of the game (since v1.1)

- One new Empire upgrade allowing new items creation in the forge, "Strange Experience".

- Since 2.0, another new Empire Upgrades: Poison of the Black Rose

- One new building in Rogue cities, the “Alchemist Guild”. This building will give the ability "Unstable Mutation" to Summoned Elementals and since 2.0 the ability "Alchemist Kit" to non-mounted support, pikeman, archer, infantry and irregular units

- One new Battle Spell, the “Alchemist Bomb”

- Three new skills taking the spot of three other ones, “Into the Night” instead of Urban Cover, “Summon Lesser Shadow Stalker” instead of Corrupted Killers and “Summon Shadow Stalker” instead of Produce Shadow Stalker.

- Specific balance changes, especially focused on the decrease of mana upkeep cost from Rogue global spells & city spells.

- All the new content is translated in English and French only.

Hello everyone,
I am happy to present you my second opus of my mod series for Aow 3. This one is focused on the class rogue which, despite being quite an iconic class for games like Aow III, feels a bit clunky in its current state. So I decided to give my very best to make this class not just more powerful, but also more fun to play. Without going too much into the thought process behind all the stuff that the mod contain (I will maybe do a separate topic for that), I think that the Rogue current version lacks flexibility in its economic strategy (use of mana especially) and some power in late game. I have tried to address both issues at the same time through new content and various balance changes while still sticking to the rogue iconic thematic and background.

I hope you will enjoy the mod and if you really like it don’t hesitate to give me feedback about it, what you like / dislike and I will try to improve it progressively.

So many mods that are pretty sweet but aren't split up so you get this outdated, incompatible mess, I like building great cities (Because of Civilization I think lol) and Empire Building Mod has some incompatibilities but has a patch to remove the hero upgrades (basically the same like what you've done with heroes) but is also incompatible with for example Legendary Units, which has a patch for the base EBM mod, but not the hero compatibility version, I just like the extra buildings they give lol

Damn, I kind of liked that mod (got into it a few months ago when I started playing 300% research and 200% growth), might just turn it off and play a little faster modes

hm it might be impactful as pretty much all core units are impacted. My mods modify them from time to time by adding to them some abilities sometime, you will be missing that as well

Ahh gotcha, turns out one of the mods I'm using (city development mod) adjusts the units (adding population cost to all vanilla units), which breaks that feature.

Makes me wonder how many other units might've been affected by this

They evolve to assassins with this mod; it felt thematically more suited than making them evolve to lesser shadow stalker

Hmm my bad, for some reason I couldn't find the produce shadow stalker in the rogue list but found it now my bad, anyway like I said it's a lot of fun but why exactly can we not evolve our little buggers? :(

Hmm I am a bit surprised, I thought I fixed it lately... could you mention to me which units are still missing from (I guess) chivalrous?

Finally decided to give Rogue a try, pretty fun! However I'm not a huge fan of the removal of evolving the scoundrels and the minor incompatibilities that came with it like Jarin mentioned previously, some units have become inaccessible because of it unfortunately :(

I think it should work, but it would be worth being mentioned as well.
