I used to dislike this game based on the fact that a morally good, non-lethal playthrough is incredibly boring. Then I realized that the "bad" ending is the more appropriate one for a world as dirty as this one, stopped caring about the "good" ending and finally started enjoying Dishonored.
This game is incredible. The open level design, the amount of powers you can use and the ways you can employ them to mess with your enemies. The intriguing design and lore of the world, and especially the Outsider.
I would advise you to watch a video from the youtube channel StealthGamerBR to see what high level gameplay in DIshonored looks like because I feel like seeing it in action sells the game better than any written review ever could.

Half this game is spent watching cutscenes during which the main character laments how weak and vulnerable she is, the other half is spent gunning down hundreds of people, or free climbing along stone walls, or engaging in occupational therapy so mindnumbing that calling them "puzzles" risks receiving capital punishment. The story is barebones contextualization of the gameplay and to be ignored, the levels are extremely linear and braindead to navigate thanks to the climbable ledge paint on every surface, and the game is filled to the brim with unimportant cutscenes such as asking the player to mash the E-key for Lara to pry open a treasure chest.
The english voice actors are pretty good, so are the graphics. The only real blunder is Lara's ponytail which looks like straight out of a shampoo ad thanks to NVidia's hair works "feature", which clashes with how worn down she and her clothing is by the end of the game.
This game has multiplayer... Because in the year 2013 Square Enix seemed to think that even Tomb Raider needed team deathmatch to sell copies.

It's a crying shame what this game could have been, because the general gameplay here is absolutely awesome. With REmake 3 largely working in the same engine as REmake 2 both games play similar, however in this one shooting and movement has been refined in welcome ways. Changes like automatically picking up items instead of having to place them in your inventory individually are welcome as well, and improve the pace of the game with no detriment. If this game had a mercenaries mode, I can imagine that it would be incredibly fun.

Nemesis however, has been butchered. Encounters play out identically. He breaks through a wall, chases you to the next saveroom, you exit the saveroom and then one of three things happen: he breaks through another wall and chases you to the next save room yet again, there's a cutscene where something happens that interrupts the chase (like an explosion taking him out of commission for a short time), or he engages you in one of the game's four terrible, terrible boss fights.
The kind of boss fights where your task is to guess what the developer was thinking. The designers were apparently aware of this because if you die the loading screen "hints" tell you exactly what you have to do to defeat him.

The game is 5 hours long. This doesn't mean you're going to spend 5 hours on one playthrough, it means you're going to get 5 hours out of this game. There are no alternate scenarios like in REmake 2, and many annoying sections like the spider room breaker search segment or HORDE WAVE DEFENSE (WHAT THE HELL?!) deter from its replayability. There is also no side content (such as Mercenaries or REmake 2's survivor stories) to speak of. The fact that Project REsistance was originally meant to be a standalone title but was tacked onto this game because of its awful reception tells you everything you need to know about how much value it adds to the purchase of REmake 3. Also it has lootboxes and sells boosters to earn them faster for real money so I won't waste a minute of my life on that and neither should you.

If more singleplayer content is added to the main game I can imagine this being a decent purchase, otherwise I'd recommend getting it on sale, as it is a fun game, but the amount of content offered for the asking price is laughable.

Both Loyalist Packs exist solely for the purpose of "getting something" for financially supporting Crate Entertainment. In terms of pure price:performance this small set of cosmetic items is obviously wildly overpriced, and therefore I think it is NOT justifiable to buy these unless you specifically demand to pay for their intended, non-game-related purpose.

I loved Gothic and Risen and I tried to make the best of this but...

ELEX's overreliance on its godawful combat system, paired with extremely unrewarding and unmotivating exploration aspects and an early game that does not immediately introduce the player to an interesting narrative and consists almost entirely of running oddjobs, made every minute I could bear to play it an absolute chore.

I cannot, in good faith, recommend this game to anyone who isn't already a huge fan of Piranha Bytes' specific flavour of RPG design, and who is not already familiar with low budget "Eurojank" productions

It's SotN in a somewhat less beautiful but still very endearing 2.5D optic, made by the man who is responsible for the fact that we call this game genre "Metroidvania".

There's really not much more to say about Bloodstained than that if you enjoyed Sympony of the Night and/or Order of Ecclesia, you're going to love this game, as it inherits design traditions of both of those games, down to the not-so-hidden secret second half of the game and trivial stuff like Alucard's movement speed and jumping physics.

It's a decent generic shooter with an alright gameplay loop of going somewhere, shooting everything inside it, then collecting scraps and gear to salvage, and using that salvage to upgrade your guns and armor and build up your settlements.

As an RPG it falls completely short. Barely qualifying as one by the fact that you can level up, its world is empty and lifeless, what worldbuilding it has tends to contradict established Fallout lore, like the invention of Jet by Myron in Fallout 2, factions have absolutely been butchered, prime example being the Brotherhood of Steel which are LITERALLY Nazis now and there is nothing of significance to discover in the world. Raiders and Orcs - sorry, I mean super mutants, make up the majority of the world's population as fodder for you to gun down, the only addition worth mentioning is a new militarized flavor of Raiders called the "Gunners".

Performance and graphics are bad, especially in the downtown Boston area which has Gamebryo walking on its last leg. Can't wait for TES 6 to completely wet itself when 3 NPCs are on screen at the same time <3

In terms of gunplay, player feedback, music and visual design DOOM may very well be the best shooter I played in the past 10 years. But it falls victim to repetitious leveldesign, a lack of shakeup of the game's formula from start to end, an overreliance on the Glory Kill gimmick which gets stale very fast if on-screen violence doesn't make you queazy, and annoying bullet sponge enemies which appear in far too high numbers towards the end of the game.
Multiplayer and Snapmap being infamously lackluster tack-ons doesn't help much either.
I would recommend getting the game in a sale. It's a good game, just not full price-good.
