True Unit Size MOD LIST
13 items
Description
[READ - THIS MOD IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANY EXTRA UNIT OR EXTRA LEGENDARY LORD. - READ] All units must be edited individually to achieve the goal of increasing the number of units. There is no global setting that simply increases the number of units. Any extra unit mod needs a specific submod for those units. THAT SAID, I WILL NO LONGER BE RESPONDING TO COMMENTS ASKING IF TRUE UNIT SIZE IS COMPATIBLE WITH EXTRA UNIT MOD X OR Y.

What does this mod do?
This mod will will triple all units except single entities, some war machines, Lords, and Heroes, which will have their HP tripled.

Changelog

- The number of all units has been multiplied by 3x, except for Single Entity, a few War Machines, Heroes and Lords, which had their HP tripled.
- Special army abilities for Nurgle, Slaanesh, and Khorne require the triple more kills to be activated. (Tzeentch require the double.)
- All healing sourcer nerfed be 75% (Healing is based on the percentage of HP. It's not a real nerf, it just makes the values normal on the 3x scale)
- Direct damage increased by 200% against single entities.
- Direct damage for single entities increased by 200%
- Melee and missile damage for single entities and war machines increased by 200%.
- Units with passive abilities, such as "Hellblade" require the triple more kills to be activated.

ATTENTION !!!
Before anything else, all the Base for this mod WERE NOT MADE BY ME. THEY WERE MADE BY:
Frodo45127.
(Nothing less than the creator of RPFM, the most popular modding tool for Total War. This guy is a freak LEGEND by the way...)
I only have his permission to upload his mod as a base and modify and tweak for all mods x1.5, x2, x3, x4, 5 and maintain the unit size mods on Steam through the workshop. So I would like to give him credit here, making it clear that these mods will only be possible thanks to him.
Consider using the launcher created by the author of the base code of this mod, Frodo45127. You can learn more about the launcher, which is not only used for Total War: Warhammer 3 but for all games in the Total War franchise, through this link on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/totalwar/comments/1big53a/runcher_08_released_an_alternative_total_war_mod/

It seems mod doesnt work with custom (new) units - is there any chance to fix it?
For example Dawi Gunpowder Units mod

I would even like to make this version just for vanilla x2. However, doing so means creating and maintaining 9 more different versions of the mod in addition to the ones I'm already maintaining by editing these units. So I'd rather just not do it, unless someone wants to maintain these versions.

Is there any chance of getting an increased single entity submod aswell? A previous modder who also made a 3x unit size had a submod for it but it got deleted.

Alright, seems a bit silly that in the engine the amount of Units and the Scale of Models is influenced by the same tables.. thanks for the answer :)

I have no idea what this does in Runcher.
When I decided to take over this mod, I used the tables that Runcher generated multiplying the unit sizes as a base to create the vanilla version of the game. (These days, I no longer use Runcher since I have my own Excel tables).
On top of that, I made additional balance changes to improve the gameplay with the x2, x3, and other versions heavily inspired by an old mod from the author Coffe. (I don’t remember his exact name, but it was something like Coffe-something.)
Using True Unit Size alongside another mod that edits the unit sizes of the same units is completely impossible—both mods modify the same value in the table that defines the number of men in a unit.
The only way to make this work would be by doubling or tripling the values in the unit table of Loreful Resize itself.

Now, if we're talking about new units from other mods, Runcher can help—if you know how to extract the tables from it.
