Solar System (Planets - 1:20, Orbits - 1:200)

Description
Welcome to the Real Solar System (Planets - 1:20, Orbits - 1:200)! This mod brings the Solar System to the world of Space Engineers with accurately scaled planets and orbits. Planets are scaled down to 1:20 and orbits to 1:200, which keeps the physically correct behavior of objects.

*The Sun Radius and Moon Orbital Radius have been changed to realize a realistic Solar Eclipse.

Size of the Sun from different planets
With proper scaling, the Celestial Bodies look almost like real life! For example, let's look at the Sun from each planet:
Mercury

Venus

Earth

Mars

Jupiter

Saturn

Uranus

Neptune

Key Features
  • Precise scaling for a realistic experience: Planets are scaled down to 1:20 and their orbits to 1:200, preserving the physics of motion.
  • Solar Eclipses: Observe eclipses from the Earth's surface thanks to correct orbital distance adjustments.

*The simulation in the video has been sped up!
  • Unique Days and Nights: Day length on Earth is reduced to 1 hour real time, and changed proportionally on other planets.
