Description
Introduction
This mod splits up Chaos Dwarfs into Sorcerer, Infernal Guard, Industrialist, Fleet, and House sub-factions. I placed limits on what buildings each sub-faction can build and which units they can recruit to force them to stick to a theme. I also added bonuses to each faction through faction leader traits and other faction-wide effects. Servants of the Conclave are unchanged. Special thanks to Lemonz for coming up with most of the original concept for this mod.

Faction Leader Traits
Sorcerer-Prophets
Melee Attack: +4 for Bull Centaurs
Winds of Magic +20 (Faction Leader)
Research Rate: +10%
Overseer
Armament Produced: +10%
Public Order: +2
Armor: +10 for Chaos Dwarf Warriors

Sub-faction Summaries
Sorcerer-Prophets
Units: Labourers, Hobgoblins, Dwarf Infantry, Beasts, Bull Centaurs, K'Daii, Basic Artillery

Worshippers of Hashut and masters of Chaos Dwarf magic. Has higher capacity for K'Daii and Bull Centaurs.

Factions: Disciples of Hashut, Fists of Hashut [TOW], Horns of Hashut [TOW], Slaves of the Black Dwarf [TOW]
Infernal Guard
Units: Labourers, Hobgoblins, Dwarf Infantry, Infernal Guard, All Artillery

Members of the Infernal Guard Cult. Has access to the most elite Chaos Dwarf infantry, but has no magic.

Factions: Legion of Azgorh, Overlords of Zharrduk
Industrialists
Units: Labourers, Hobgoblins, Dwarf Infantry, Some Infernal Guard, Bull Centaurs, All Artillery

Chaos Dwarfs who specialize in labour acquisition. Has higher capacity for artillery units.

Factions: The Warhost of Zharr, Snakebeard's Artificers [TOW]
Fleets
Units: Labourers, Dwarf Infantry, Some Infernal Guard, Basic Artillery

The great fleets of the Chaos Dwarfs. Have higher capacity for dwarf warriors and blunderbusses and warriors are recruited at a higher rank. No hobgoblins, as they prefer to stick to the Dark Lands.

Factions: Warfleet of Uzkulak [TOW/IME], Black Kraken Armada [TOW]
Houses
Units: Labourers, Dwarf Infantry, Basic Artillery, See Below

Each of the Houses has access to basic units plus one unit type that tehy specialize in.

Factions: House of Baal (Iron Demons), House of Bzaark (Infernal Guard), House of Azeros (K-daii), House of Khorakk (Hobgoblins and Beasts)

You won’t see the word sub-faction anywhere in the game, its just a term I made to classify the changes I made to each faction.

If you’re playing as House of Khorakk, they will have different units and buildings compared to the Warfleet of Uzkulak for example, which I call a fleet sub-faction.

I assume I am probably missing something obvious: When I load the mod, where am I supposed to see the subfactions?

I want to play as the House of Khorakk mentioned, but with Mixu's unlocker this doesn't appear. Is this a Chaos Dwarf Subfaction from a different mod?

theres a chinesse mod called ´Walk with the dragon´ wich is pretty much the best cathay mod out there. also, i was just giving you the idea about the pirates; take your time, you are cooking.

Speaking of Cathay, I’m planning to do a new military group for rebels which means it won’t be compatible with new unit mods by default. Are they any Cathay unit mods anyone considers essential so I can add support for them? I’m already going to include Landmarks and Dead’s unit pack

I won’t touch Vampire Coast for a while since that will be somewhat advanced for me, but I was planning on doing more than just Sartosa. Also, I am making some Cathayan bandits that could fit nicely as pirates, so they will definitely be included. I’m not sure how to do Brettonian pirates, but I’ll see what I can do.

it doesnt have anything to do with the chaos dwarfs but i was thinking that you could give different living units to different pirate factions (the jade pirates getting some cathay units, the ones in brettonia getting some brettonian peasants, etc)

Thanks! Let me know if you guys have any feedback. I haven’t played a Chaos Dwarf campaign, so I was just guessing on what unit cap changes felt right.
