Description
With the old playthrough being done and Shen's Last Gift being released, it's time for a new XCOM campaign. To shake things up a bit, i will not be using Raidey's class mod this time, instead i will try the ShadowOps Classes by Xylth and two of Grimy's classes.

Mods from the previous campaign that i will NOT be using this time:
- All The Enemies! and the extra enemies that i ran. I feel like they ultimately didn't matter too much.
- Additional Dark Events: While they do look imposing, it is rare that a relevant Dark Event actually goes through.
- EU Aim Rolls: The Shadow Ops class mod comes with a change to crit chances built in. EU Aim Rolls are redundant with those changes.
- Larger Starting Squad: I want to use vanilla soldier squad sizes. I feel like having too many soldiers makes turns start to be tedious and boring.

I will have 8 available classes in my campaign:
The 4 ShadowOps classes Infantry, Dragoon, Hunter and Combat Engineer
Grimy's Anarchist
Grimy's Bruiser
Vanilla Sharpshooter
Vanilla Specialist
That should give me a good balance of weapons used and combat roles filled by those soldiers. Also, the Anarchist and Combat Engineer are both less powerful tweaks on the Grenadier, so that may be a more elegant solution to grenade balancing than using Damage Falloff.

Other mods that i will be trying:
- Longer Campaign: That should increase the importance of Scientists and Engineers a lot.
- Grimy's Loot Mod: There's so much stuff in this mod by now, i just have to see it for myself :) I did tweak it a bit, though. In my playthrough, Lootboxes will not be dropping from enemies, only the new attachments themselves. Lootboxes will be available at the Black Market, however. I hope to make the Black Market a bit more relevant that way while keeping the Loot Mod from dominating too much.
- SMG Pack: Never tried it. Maybe it's worth it?
- Leader Pack: Same. With the longer campaign mod, i should have time to mess around with stuff like this.
- Heavy Weapons Tweak: Nerfs the Shredcannon, buffs the flamethrowers. Should make the lesser used heavy weapons a bit more desirable.
