Patch 29

  • Wieneke can now carry around her fellow survivors while possessing certain creatures! Here's how it works: while possessing, simply right-click a survivor to allow them on: After which, said survivor can complete the action by right-clicking you as well. The following possessed creatures can let players ride them as of this patch: The Clockwork Rook, Grass Gator, Beefalo, Koalefant, and Bearger.
  • Fixed a bug where, when awakening a Rook Figure, the summoned Rook would slide in a random direction at high speeds.

Patch 28

  • Wieneke now recovers the correct amount of maximum health after eating a Booster Shot when playing with Uncompromising Mode (UM) (25% > 50%).
  • The Twins of Terror now behave much more like the Eye Of Terror while possessed.
  • The following creatures will now instantly repel Wieneke when possessed: Celestial Champion, W.A.R.B.O.T., and Celestial Scion.
  • Pearl and the Wandering Trader can no longer be possessed.

  • Fixed an issue where, under certain circumstances, Suspicious Peepers and the Twins of Terror would try to fight each other to no avail.
  • Fixed an issue where, after dying and respawning, Wieneke would be able to use healing items (with no effect).
  • Fixed an issue when playing with UM where a possessed Bearger would deal twice as much damage if its attack hit multiple targets.
  • Fixed an issue where no unique boss music would play when fighting the Twins of Terror.
  • Fixed a rare issue where it was possible for summoned awakened items to be destroyed if the game saved and crashed at the same time.
  • Fixed a crash that would occur when attacking as a possessed Bearger during a save.

Patch 27

  • The highest default raw damage output for any creature has been reduced (80 > 68).
  • The freezing potency of a possessed Deerclops's attack now scales with the target's maximum health: Targets with lower max health values now freeze much quicker. Note that a more effective freeze costs a bit more hunger.
  • The attack range of a possessed Deerclops has been reduced (8 > 6).
  • A possessed Bearger now runs much more slowly during combat (10 > 6.5).
  • The attack range of a possessed Bearger has been reduced (5 > 4).
  • The raw damage output of a possessed Bearger has been reduced (59.5 > 42.5).
  • The damage output of a possessed Bearger's ground pound has been reduced in comparison to its normal attack (1x > 0.75x).
  • A possessed Bearger's ground pound now costs hunger to execute while on a boat. A new visual effect has also been added for this situation.
  • Wieneke can now wax any workable object with Glommer's Goop, preventing said object from accidently being destroyed by collateral damage, such as when using Bearger's ground pound.
  • Wieneke now also extinguishes burning or smoldering items within a small radius around her possession target (on-possess only).
  • Campfires are no longer extinguished when possessed, and instead add a small amount of fuel.
  • Mine-like traps no longer hurt Wieneke's hosts.
  • The effectiveness of waterproofing and insulating clothing during possession have been increased (0.5x > 0.667x).
  • Wieneke no longer hurts Maxwell's shadow minions with her angry emote.
  • Wieneke's ghostly health meter no longer displays a down-arrow when taking damage over time during a possession, if the damage was delegated to her hunger meter.
  • Wieneke's hunger meter now shows a huge down-arrow when absorbing damage over time during a possession.
  • Cursed Trinkets now ignore Wieneke during a possession.

  • Fixed an issue where Powder Monkeys were able to steal summoned awakened items.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when unpossessing big Bernie.
  • Fixed an issue where Wieneke's leg and feet symbols would be visible when partially transforming into Wonkey if skins were in use.
  • Fixed an issue where, if a boat was destroyed while you were on it as a possessed land creature, you would end up being able to walk on the ocean.

Patch 26

  • You can now immediately resume sprinting after having attacked as the Eye Of Terror.
  • The Eye Of Terror now scares away prey when attacking when possessed, similarly to other creatures with long range attacks.
  • Defeating a pine Treeguard now also unlocks control for the lumpy Treeguard variant, and vice versa.
  • While playing with Uncompromising Mode, the Eye Of Terror, Toadstool, and Bee Queen should no longer try to flee when possessed if another boss is nearby.

  • Added a new configuration option regarding hunger costs during possession.
  • Fixed an issue where you were able to move out of a Butterfly's flower planting animation.

Patch 23

  • Monsters that immediately repel Wieneke upon possession (due to repeated possess attempts while untamed) now no longer trigger the possess mechanism for one frame before kicking her out. In practise, this means monsters will no longer be staggered when possessing them in this state.

Patch 22

  • Wieneke-specific save data now carries over between Celestial Portal player swaps.
  • Wieneke's planar damage output during possession is now carried over between player swaps (including both Wonkey and the Celestial Portal).
  • Wieneke's symbol customization should now always happen on load, even if the server is paused.

Patch 21

  • Adjusted Wieneke's voice a bit: instead of always playing in a successive loop, her talking sounds are now picked at random, with some pitch variance applied. Her voice when dead fades in/out a bit more gracefully as well.
  • Reviving Wieneke using her unique craft in Uncompromising Mode (UM) now grants a sanity bonus to the reviver.
  • Fixed a bug where, if a non-Wieneke survivor had died, their player badge would display Wieneke's unique death build instead of their own ghost build.
  • Fixed an issue in UM where, if someone started a craft to revive Wieneke but she moved away, the materials would be consumed without resurrecting her.

Patch 20

  • The Clockwork Rook can no longer hit friendly creatures unless specifically targeted.
  • The Eye Of Terror now drains more hunger when landing successful hits (1x > 1.2x).
  • The Stagehand now has a more fitting on-possess animation.
  • Fixed an issue where, with the Lag Compensation setting enabled, the Clockwork Rook and some other stutter-stepping creatures were unable to run properly.
  • Fixed an issue where the item bound to an awakened Clockwork Rook would not bounce upon being unpossessed.
