Patch 19

  • Flying creatures can now get hit by the Antlion's sand spikes.
  • The Eye Of Terror can now properly cross land/sea borders like other flying creatures.
  • Creatures that can fly over the ocean may now be awakened if their item is currently in the water.
  • Fixed an issue where Wieneke would be able to be attacked by Winona's catapults during possession.
  • Fixed an issue where, if the game saved during a possessed creature dash, Wieneke would keep the momentum and be unable to unpossess.
  • Fixed an issue where, for some bosses, their special music would erroneously play during possession. Note that some outdated client music mods may cause this issue to persist.

Patch 18

  • All flying creatures can now cross land to sea/void borders, during which they drain 75% more hunger than a swimming aquatic creature would.
  • The Malbatross drains significantly less hunger when flying over the sea.
  • Bees no longer stop to rest when possessed.
  • Butterflies now more responsively play their movement animation when moving during possession.
  • Fixed an issue during possession where, after sprinting and performing an action, the creature would erroneously stagger/step.

Patch 17

  • Footstep sounds now play when riding a tamed Beefalo as Wieneke.
  • Wieneke's talker text now appears in the correct location while riding a Beefalo.
  • Spell buffs should now always accurately display on your possessed creature's health meter when playing with Flaire The Spellblade.
  • Fixed an issue where embarking onto a boat as a flying creature would result in strange behaviour.

Patch 15

  • When playing with Uncompromising Mode, Wixie can now properly shoot Wieneke from her slingshot, like Walter can in vanilla.
  • Fixed an issue where a possessed boomerang would always travel in a single direction when thrown.

Patch 14

  • Wieneke no longer activates the equipped effect of the Life Giving Amulet.
  • Wieneke now has a unique battle cry during possession.
  • Wieneke now has a unique announcement for when a Bat Bat fails to heal her.
  • The Possess action now plays a different animation when a target becomes invalid moments before the action is completed.
  • Wieneke's health meter no longer displays an up-arrow when sleeping. Note that sleeping never healed her before: this is a purely visual change.
  • The health requirement of Wieneke's revive craft has been reduced when playing with Uncompromising Mode (50 > 40).

Patch 13

  • Wieneke can now awaken bosses within Veteran Curse items in Uncompromising Mode (UM), if she's affected by the curse.
  • When playing with UM, Wieneke can now be revived by a unique craft, accessible by standing near her when she's dead.
  • Wieneke's hair on her player badge now goes dark when migrating between forest and caves.
  • Increased the range at which monsters are tamed for possession when defeated (30 > 40 units).
  • Increased the time at which Wieneke is considered eligible to tame a monster for possession after being in combat with it (30 > 480 seconds). Note this timer still refreshes each time combat is had with the target.
  • Polished up Wieneke traveling alongside Wortox: when teleporting a great distance and reaching the destination, her possess sound should no longer erroneously play, and her hair and skirt should no longer pop up for one frame. Additionally, the camera will now snap on arrival for the Wieneke player, similarly to how it works for Wortox.

  • Wieneke's skirt now more responsively copies the player entity's AnimState properties (colour, tree shade, etc).
  • Fixed an issue where, under certain conditions, Wieneke's hair would display on other survivor's player badges.
  • Fixed an issue where the Eye Of Terror and The Twins could hit themselves and their allies.

  • Fixed an incomplete hook added in the previous patch, causing other characters to be unable to perform their unique actions. Woops.

  • A possessed Clockwork Rook no longer damages walls when charging.
  • The hitbox for the Quelling Candle has been removed.

  • Fixed a crash that occurred when a possessed item was deployed.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when performing a host action that would trigger unpossession.
