Tougher Mobs with Better Loot!

This thread will be for discussing additional bonuses, difficulty multipliers etc. when using this mod in combination with other mods. Starbound has a Wonderful modding community, so we hope this helps you find other mods that can add to your experience.

Modders; you are more than welcome to post your creations, as long as they're SFW (Safe For Work) and respectful of others :) ,

NOTE: It's advised to check the mod owners notes on compatibility with other mods/vanilla mulitplayer as it will vary.

Drop rate bonuses to all mods
  • There's a +35% bonus chance for NPCs to reroll their drop pools for additional loot.
    This includes mods like Arcana
  • There's a +35% loot bonus to vanilla monsters (+50% for space monsters or hunting)
  • The above includes modded items, for example, Experience Orbs from RPG Growth
  • Much more, including additional chance of getting rare space loot (see Description page for details)

As of 1.7.3.5. added the loot bonus for over 500 mod monsters from Pandora's Box, Frackin Universe and the mods contained therein.

Yes, it should stack with Monster's Protein. Though the health scaling of one mod may override the other (depending on priority score, for reference the priority score of Tougher Mobs is 3).
Hey! How about adding compatibility with MY OWN system of minion buffs? It is much more customizable in terms of minion buffs - ESPECIALLY with minion slots. Could you make your main companion script not choke out my entire system?

Your mod looks very cool. If you'd like to override the priority of Tougher Mobs with changes to the companion system you can set the priority score in the config to 4 or higher.

Alternatively if you'd like me to rework Tougher Mobs let me know in addition to which file(s) you need exempt. Though I won't be able to patch until at least the end of next month due to commitments to other projects.

We only add to the monster/npc
update/on taking damage/destroy events while allowing other mods to change them.
