Bug Fix / Suggestions To-Do List:
A discussion for myself, so I don't forget. Although, I still might lol

If you happen to receive a bug, please let me know and I'll try and fix it somehow.

The "UWE - GIGA Patch ONE" aims to incorporate a lot of these reported issues into the list. Previous patches have not been merged to allow for more functionality in other UWE based lists, such as a Anrhaa's List and Statwise's List.

The Items Integration Patch was accidentally broken by me, so you can ignore the "Missing Mods" message for now, everything should still work as intended. I've removed it from the list until it's fixed.

The Can-Fix List

  • Create a UWE specific patch for Rip and Tear Thank you @CaptBarras for reminding me, as well as multiple people previously (sorry, can't find comments)

  • Balance the roaming caravan groups (ie. slave caravan bosses) as suggested by @Haramczar1 in the General Comments! Units may have very high stats, such as the bosses having 100 Stats in combat skills.

  • Take a look at Martial Arts, a bug was reported by @Constant where very low MA (Skill 0) won't attack at all. Can possibly be offset with MA gear (at least last time I checked?), but a brand new Wanderer may have 0 MA which can cause issues. Possibly an Animation Moveset issue?

  • Fix the potential Part Map issue with various UWE Skeletons whose arms, etc. might be invisible with some outfits, as reported by @Liodegrey in This thread.

  • Fix the "Great Rich Men" that are unable to recruit, they're from the NPCs Enjoy More Shopping mod. Thank you @SunLizardX for reporting this!

  • Fix the Hard Labour uses Strength mod to ensure it's fully compatible with UWE's various stone types.

  • Check loot tables on various vendors that might have issues, such as the "Goat Trader" not having backpacks for their goats (or is this intended?)

  • Fix up some dialogues and loot when fighting bandits, fogmen, cannibals, and other creatures that have special loot (Remake the Great Beak Thing as well, permissions were granted by original author to remake the mod)

  • Create a companion patch for No Raids for Small Bases to include UWE factions (maybe, need to see how it plays out with just base factions for now).

The Probably, Maybe Can't Fix (myself) List
These require *a lot* of effort, or simply beyond what I can do

  • Check Strategic Ambiguity to see how to fix all UWE faction interactions. Thank you again @liodegrey for reporting! (This will take quite awhile... I didn't realize Strat Ambiguity modifies like everyone's dialogue lol...)

  • Check meshes / textures / etc for YAKNM to make it compatible with UWE Shek Races. Thanks @ErikRedbeard for reporting it! (This might require another person to create the meshes / textures, as I'm not a good artist :sad:)

Anrhaa has kindly figured out exactly what would need to be fixed with UWE and a couple of mods also having issues on this list.

Additional Suggestions

  • Create a small patch to further balance the various backpacks to give them more unique roles (ie. More backpacks like the "Drum Backpack"). Thank you @「 Tvex 」for the suggestion!

UWE / Adventuer's Guild / Reptilian patch to remove recruitment dialogue. (see below)

This evolved into a much bigger process lol. I ended up creating 2 new mods entirely (also removes older mods on the list, see v1.8.4), Remove Argonians and the Adventurer's Guild Patch.

Food Barrel patch to enable all food (UWE + other mods) to be stored in food barrels.

Created the UWE - Food Storage Fix to hopefully resolve that. It's standalone for now until I can gather what all foods are missing. Thank you @MAGA Cat for reporting this!

Edit 24-JUL-23: Further incorporated this into the "Giga Patch", to help reduce overall load order number

Fix the Northern Coast building overlap.

The UWE - Bounties Galore mod created by Statwise has fixed the one reported overlapping building in the Northern Coast. Thank you @Statwise and @Nihil for reporting and fixing this!

If you notice any other buildings overlap, please let me know so I or someone else can try to make a quick patch

  • Correct a potential issue with a Dyer Guild in the Northern Coast that is very close to a Hiver base, can cause issues with guards responding from the guild to attack Hivers or other things if a brawl breaks out in the city. Thank you @liodegrey for reporting!
  • Check out the "Ironsides" creature that resides in the Ashlands, according to @liodegrey the creature does like 400 damage (even while wearing full heavy armor lol). Thank you @liodegrey for reporting!
  • Check certain "end game" armor, particularly Chitrin stuff, for really low cut resistances. Thank you @liodegrey for reporting!

Very High Priority! - I need to fix the Sparring Partners mod when interacting with Cat and a few other NPCs. This is caused from NPCs "inheriting" Player Dialogue packages as NPCs!!

Released an patch to fix this, as it's a pretty big bug that can affect a quest line directly!

Create additional "Head Hunting" for Cannibals!

Created a new mod to allow for "head hunting" cannibals for rewards, UWE Head Hunting. It also contains a minor small quest, to earn reputation with the Dead Cat Faction! You can now immediately form an alliance with them, to help the cause of eliminating Cannibals from the North.

Fix minor inconsistencies with loot, ie. remove the Meitous that random NPCs might have lol (this is mostly from Historical Weapons - Complete Weapon Overhaul. There's a limitation on places you can stuff random Meitous into, since typically every weapon has at least *1* Meitou out in the world. So, some Unique Recruitable NPCs were given Meitous by the author.)

I essentially just removed this mod in 1.9.3.4 until I can sit down and move like 30-40 Meitous to somewhere unique lol, sorry :steamsad:

Double check the Cannibals to make sure they *all* follow the eating rules from Simple Cannibalism (ie. fix the starting Research for *all* Cannibal game starts to include Cannibal Traditions) Thank you @ShdwKnght for letting me know!

Ended up creating the UWE - Simple Cannibalism Patch. It looks like all of the various edible body parts work as intended (according to FCS, it's inheriting the proper labels). This should fix the one game start "The Chosen Cannibal" to have the proper research by Default. Thanks again @ShdwKnght for the suggestion!

Fix the various weapon weights and such for consistency.

This has been fixed through a series of mods included in 1.9.3-1.9.4, for the most part. Outliers might still exist, but can probably be further tweaked if I get the chance

Fix the Slave Trading system, it appears to bug out when buying slaves? (I'm a *morally* "good" Player, so I never noticed this lol). I'm not quite sure what would be the problem? Thank you, multiple people who have brought this up haha (my apologies for not remembering who all exactly).

Fix the guard dialogue to allow for sneaking, but with some kind of warning text to remind the Player not to sneak in stores (this already works, but need to clean up the actual dialogue event functions to make sure it works properly every time)

Edit the generic NPCs that Recruit Prisoners might not interact with, ie. "Dust Boss".

Fix the Hive Queen [Alternate] (New Game screen) to only show Female models, as there's no Male Models for it, which causes it to show a "Missing Model" message.

Fix the Mounted Crossbows from Radiant Turret Rework.

It was the first person of the mounted crossbows, and I noticed when I built the crossbows, the crossbows themselves said they did '0' Damage on the Mounted Crossbows.

This was fixed with the Composite Runners + Strings Fix, this issue was caused by Research (???). I would've never figured this out without randomly reading mod comments lol.
