That's... interesting actually. Do you have the logs by anychance? Could you recreate the situation and send it to me through dropbox here?

This is a strange one... with the mod installed, but NO dogs spawned, mining works fine... as soon as any dogs are spawned, mining no longer works (can swing away forever on a rock/ore nothing), uninstalling mod loading/saving fixes (since latest set of patches on ME)

uninstalling mod with dogs spawned upon reopening world old dogs are now AI-less barbarians... stuck standing sideways.

Here same problem with mining not working, but that does not depend on dogs spawned, but if the mod is installed or not.

This is very odd, Though, I'll check it out... I think it may be an issue with entity containors and entity components having outdate code. Though I'm quite unsure why... Maybe I accidently had some arcane code left in the mod from testing things...

Again, I am using outdate code, peasants, which may be an issue...
I have not been using the mod since I found out. I'll try again later today, and see if it still is there. Never know with ME updates :)

Added hitboxes to the dog, so now it can die if it's attacked.

I've had the same thing, I thought it was just the game. Since I am new at game I thought it was the game, then I removed the mod and mining is fine. I don't have log for error since I removed the mod. Other mods I had that I removed too, were the mod that adds letters/numbers to game, mushroom farming, Blueprint Auto Farmer, and lever Jack.

Ah, I think I know what's happening... But... I'm unsure. I'll try to get a hold of Storid and ask him some questions, because I think we might be using old data that's overriding new data. That would cause an issue like mining
