HMES Independence

Here is the first of my custom faction airships. His Majesty's Escort Ship Independence was the first design developed by the Avem Empire. Worried about the possible expansionist aims of her neighbors, the admiralty developed the Independence as an act of defiance to prove the nation's determination to maintain their independance through war.

The design features three 24rpm 170mm guns in a pair of turrets forward, and a simple 3.7inch gun aft. For a broadside she features six direct input 120mm guns. Simple auto cannons on an aft ventral turret finish her armament. The design can go at more than 50m/s, the standard speed for my fleet.
Her most recent refit added the third main gun, though they remain in a non-superfiring position. In short, this design is cheap but reasonably durable due to the lack of anything much important on the inside.


I have to give credit to 𝕰 𝖝 𝖎 𝖘 𝖙 𝖊 𝖓 𝖈 𝖊 for taking these screenshots for me. He did a phenomenal job with it. Also keep in mind that the colors and reflections and overall appearance of my airships will vary significantly based on your graphics settings, so feel free to mess with your settings and the paint colors until you get them to look how you like.
