HMLS Conqueror

Here's the tenth post of the third round of Avem Empire airships! I'll be doubling my fleet size in this update, so make sure to check out all the other designs.

Conqueror is a relatively small heavy cruiser built along similar lines to the Japanese Takao and Myoko classes. What this means is that she has five main guns, with her third turret at deck level and facing backwards, between the front superfiring turret and the bridge. Her ten guns in five twin turrets fire 200mm 2m kinetic shells at 45rpm. She also has a pair of 50mm CIWS turrets amidships, along with a good number of simple AA guns. She also has a pair of large torpedoes. Conqueror is quite effective against ships with strong LAMS, thanks to her high-velocity kinetic main armament. Her AI is also set to aim below the waterline, allowing her to do a good job of sinking ships and damaging internals. Pair her with another airship that has a lot of HE for best effect. I can recommend Raider or Unity for that.

Conqueror also has a few repair bots and repair tentacles, like my other airships. Unlike my other airships, though, she has a small radar dish. She also has an aircraft catapult amidships, though at this point I don't have a plane on it.

Like all my other airships, Conqueror can go 50m/s and has a cruising speed set at 40m/s.
