Affordable capable career mode starter boat.

McKenzie phase one is ~$25,000 so generally completing the tutorial and/or a loot box may be needed to get the last bit of funds.

Career starter boat, where you have a budget with all parts available. It is based on the BBW Fraser demonstrating a configuration once medium engines are available on a slightly longer hull.

Why use this boat?
= You are starting career mode
= Make money by fighting fires, rescuing people, passengers, parcels and packages
= Canadian theme can be changed over with painting
= You know how to get fuel from the gantry

Note:
Starting budget it will spawn with very limited fuel which could handle a nearby rescue. Fueling from the gantry right away is important.

As McKenzie was used in career various equipment was added. The phases of boat development are from this initial Phase 1 are listed below.

Speeds with full fuel load:

For high speed: ~27 m/s 52 knots
Gear alpha off, gear beta on
Limited duration due to cooling needs
Some situations SW has it super planing with almost nothing in the water and even higher speeds. Caution: when super planing the rudder has little or no water contact so steering is minimal.

For range: ~130 km at ~22 m/s 42 knots with ~8.8 rps
Gear alpha on, gear beta on
A reliable range for doing multiple missions around the Sawyer mainland.

This series began with what I feel is a necessary presentation for a qualified Stormworks designer is their own version of starter boats. A theme of the Canadian Coast Guard was selected largely as this is my homeland of Canada with one of the largest coast lines of the world plus massive river and lake networks. The boats are named for major rivers in Canada and/or the people those rivers were themselves named after. The general shape of the boat is maintained throughout with only slight changes in hull shape.

BBW Thelon
Thelon design began as improving on the Gen 3 to reduce slipping off the deck. Improvements continued to fully enclose the upper engine and cargo bay. It is now well suited to operating in arctic conditions with increased heating and durability. Armor and rifles for defence from wildlife.
