HW1 Collector HP increased to the original levels.
Hw2 collector HP increased by 50%. from 2000 to 3000 HP, this should help with the issue of being kamikazed so easily by hw1 scouts.
(damage for all weapons that had a penalty vs resource armor, damage increased by 50% to compensate)
Hw1 support frigates maneuvering increased to help them latch on faster,
HW1 collector RU hold now brings back the original 650 RU from hw1 instead of the 500 it does now.
All races Resource controller/refineries Ship hold (aka dock) repair rates doubled to account for changes to collector HP.
vaygr missile speeds increased by 25% (not rof or damage, just the speed of the missile.)
hw2 turrets HP increased by 25%
hw2 Gun platforms accuracy increased slightly vs hw2 fighters and moderately vs hw1 fighters.(the consensus in the community is that all platforms aren't very useful, even against their intended targets. and i agree)
Ion cannon and heavy missile platforms damage increased by 25%

ROF for HW1 Fighters fixed. the burst/delay was missing.. my bad..

and MD damage changed to Hw1 levels.. sorta. im sick of nerfing it over and over.

fixed UI prerequisite for ships in the build menu. (experiment was a success)

sense the Locale editing doesn't work, i simply made the changes in the local. then replaced with areas i wanted to change in the build/research section, such as name or description/requirements with the direct code from the locale.. to my surprise it actually worked perfectly.

though if you are playing in another language, you will see those parts of the game in English. sorry nothing i can do about that.

fixed cloak and defense fighter speeds. accidently entered the wrong numbers while speed modding.

attempted an experiment to do a work around for the UI fix, on build requirements.

forgot to edit the descriptions/UI requirements for the new research changes..

this hotfix was suppose to fix it. but it doesnt seem to of worked. not sure whats wrong.

Destroyer, Missile destroyer, Frigate, Corvette and fighter speeds adjusted for HW1 races
they aren't as fast as in hw1, but they should still reflect the old HW1 feel.
for example corvettes that use to be faster or slower than other corvettes are now mirroring their old game-play, while still remaining competitive with HW2.


Scuttle Damage changes for all races!!!!
Scuttle now works as it did in hw1 or really close to it. the changes to the damage pallets are as follows

MS/SY
Range min/max- 0-4000
Damage Min/max- 9000-16000

Carrier/HC/BC
Range min/max- 0-2300
Damage Min/max- 4000-7500

Destroyer/MissileDestroyer
Range min/max- 0-1200
Damage Min/max- 900-1800

Frigate/resource controller/refinery
Range min/max- 0-500
Damage Min/max- 400



Research and build changes for HW1:
Repair corvettes no longer require research.
Light corvettes Only Require Corvette drive.
Destroyers and Heavy Cruisers now require IonCannon tech as well as previous techs.

all these changes were made to return the tree to how it was in HW1

Times have been adjusted to maintain balance with new requirements. it only seems like its researching faster.


I fixed a Repair bug for ships while docked, i thought i had properly adjusted them with the fighter and corvette HP increases, but i noticed i forgot to tweak the over-rides as well.
repairs for docked ships should now be working again at a more reasonable speed.


Hw1 Missile Destroyers Missiles damage cut in half for standard fire. they were doing to much damage to capitals. they still have more than enough damage to deal with their intended target classes (strike craft)
volley is still an anti capital ability until i can get it working with a selection box.

added a micro exparament to see if tweaking the scuttle damage and blast range is possible. (it probably is, im just wondering if ive found it)

also added some custom code i really hope works. might crash though, i give it 50/50 chance.

final Hgn vs Hw1 fighter blanace tweak. should be good enough.

Increased friendly fire damage from 10% to 100%.

even more balancing..... for HW2 fighters vs HW1.

Kushan Destroyers Ion Beams are now limited to a 90 deg arc, instead of 180. they now work as they did in hw1.

slight increase for HW1 assault frig acuracy vs corvettes
