Description
The ice court will be busy tonight, more maidens to be trained.
A kingdom beset by peril, full of opportunity.
The winds of magic bestows new skills for each type
Better buffs and effects, training is worth a try.

Don't let them wait, wait for tech tree,
You can train them, from the beginning.
Unleash, the fury, strike the first blow
Well, now you know.



-- OVERVIEW --
> Enhances the ice court system to allow you to train more ice witches/frost maidens and start training from turn 1
> New skills and ranged missile attacks that provides each lord/hero its own unique flair
> Updated building stats to allow you to field more frost maidens, and unique buildings at the 3 great cities that increase the recruitment level.


-- BALANCE --

NO!!!

I mean, it its original state, how many times have you found it worth the 5-8 turn investment to recruit frost maidens and ice witches?


-- COMPATIBILITY --

Modifies the unit stats, skills and animations of frost maidens and ice witches. The animation edit means this mod is probably incompatible with reskins. Minor UI and stat changes to ice court, advice to avoid any mod that touches the ice court mechanics (not that there are many on the workshop to begin with tbh).

And sorry, I really, REALLY want to add even more training slots, but for some reason I can't get the UI to work, so 3+3 is like the best I can squeeze in for now. (original is max 2+2)

Hi guys, with the changes to ice court buildings in 6.1, this mod has also been updated to match the new buildings. With this, the choice of building branch will be a balancing act between increasing recruitment levels and agent cap.

hmm... would have wished to, but like, because of the prevalence of mods for legendary lords, once I add in Katarin to this mod it would likely create quite a bit of compatibility issues.

Would there be any way of making it so that Katarin could gain the missile attacks now being used by the ice witches and frost maidens?

I am also a big fan of maffer's mod series. :steamhappy:

Seems that the main issue is that both mods occupy the same "space" on the skill tree. Unfortunately, relocating the skills to avoid the clash would cause the skills in this mod to look weird and haphazard, hence unlikely that I would do it.
