Rimworld 1.2 Multiplayer Quality of Life Modpack

The mods in this pack are carefully curated and configured for maximum compatibility to minimize desyncs! Use as-is or form a solid foundation for your own favorite content!

Current Modpack Version: v0.4.7
Rimworld Version: v1.2x

Known Issues
  • Do *not* use the Arbiter! The host must click it off to a red X when hosting a game!
  • Do *not* have clients attempt to "replay" - the host should do a full save or `/autosave` in chat and have client rejoin to avoid "replay".
  • Don't try to queue up two "Defense Locations" commands via <shift-click> or it will desync
  • Raider names/stats aren't always synced, host can try to click on raider to force it to sync to client, supposedly won't cause desync
  • Occasional desync after defeating a raid: the host can just save and re-host and have clients re-join; not great but not terrible (likely fixed this by adjusting Run & Gun flee chance % back to default of 100%-hopefully this is fixed!!!)
  • You may add the Royalty DLC by sliding it into place directly beneath Core in mod load order.

Not Ready Yet
  • Allow Tool (check out https://github.com/notfood/RimWorld-AllowTool if u really need it)
  • Follow Me (desyncs on cinematic cameras, but you can click and hold on the "What is my Purpose" gizmo for similar follow effect)
  • Better Pawn Control (though gear-up-and-go works and is installed, u have to manually adjust pawn outfit assignment)
  • If you add "Smart Medicine", you must manually order your doctor to pickup medicine to work as stock-up setting is disabled in config (still need to add and configure this mod back into the list again)
